The sky was as bright as ever since the storm happened. Tinyslip smiled to herself. We're finally going to be able to go home! She turned back to all the other cats. They were gathering up, ready to leave and return back home. It had been a little hard on them, but they pushed through.

"I can't wait to go back. I want these kits to be born within Cottonclan," Pouncemist said. The she-cat was growing close with Spiderspot during this storm. Eventually, it was announced that the she-cat was actually pregnant with his kits.

Dustkit and Applekit were also eager to get home since they were ready to become apprentices. Lilywhisker had a hard time controlling them since they found out they were leaving today. They were running around, getting under everyone's paws. They boasted to Silentkit and Bumblekit about it too.

"I really miss Fernstep and Flamestar," Brackenpaw said, walking up next to her. "What do you think they're up to? Will the kits be born yet?"

"I don't think they're ready yet. You'll be there by the time they are born," Tinystep promised him.

Before the large group of cats would leave for the clans, Tinyslip and Sage were to head over to say her last goodbyes to the two other cats.

"Honestly, I will really miss them," Sage sighed. "But, I know that I want to be here with the clans. I want to be free from the housefolks. I like having the wind brush through my fur all day."

"Well, in Marshclan, there are plenty of pine trees around. There isn't much wind there," Yellowflight jokes.

"At least I'll be running through the marshes catching frogs."

It came to the time when the two she-cats would head over for Sage to say her farewells to Misty and Snickers. Sage led the way through the twoleg dens. They leaped onto a fence and walked along with it until the familiar house came into view.

Sage leaped down and ran over once she saw a fluffy gray she-cat sitting there, cleaning herself.

"Sage!" Misty leaped onto her paws. "I was wondering where you've been?"

"I've stayed with the clan cats this whole time and I actually love it. I wanted to come by and say goodbye to you and Snickers," the blueish gray she-cat meowed.

"You're leaving?" Misty asked. Sage only replied with a nod. "Well, I guess meeting these wild cats really changed you into one yourself. I can't change your decision, but I can say that you'll be missed around here. Your grumpiness probably won't though."

The two shared one last lick on the forehead when the bigger light orange tabby came walking out of the twoleg den.

"You're leaving?" Snickers glanced at her.

"Yes, I'm moving into one of the clans. They're leaving today."

"Why? You'll have to hunt for all your food when the housefolk will feed you every day. You won't have to make sure you're killed every day when you'll be curled up on your bed."
