The break

After the talk with Taeyong and Doyoung, thinks between Hwayoung and the members had started to get better. Slowly but surely, things were looking like they were going to be okay.

Xiaojun was a different situation. Things between the couple weren't as good as they were before. They weren't as close as before. Maybe it was because of different schedules, or lack of communication but it just wasn't right. Hwayoung sensing something was off herself sought out help, finding herself in the arms of Ten.

Listening to Hwayoung voice her worries, after 15 minutes he finally spoke up. "Hwayoung...do you think that maybe you guys should take a break? Just a week or two but to see if it works?"

Hwayoung went still against her bestfriend. Now that was a thought that she had but it was always in the back of her mind. Hearing Ten voice what she had lowkey been thinking changed a lot of things.

"Maybe, do you think it would be best for us?" she asked.

"I think its worth a try,"

Now here Hwayoung was sitting in front of Xiaojun after he had gotten back from his schedules.

"Yoonie my love, I know you're here to talk so...just say what's on your mind," Xiaojun whispered. He, himself had similar thoughts to Hwayoung but he didn't know how or when to approach her.

"Lately I've been thinking," she began.

"About?" question Xiaojun.

"Us," Hwayoung sighed as she looked up to meet Xiaojun's eyes. He smiled and nodded encouraging her to continue. "I love you so much, but what we have right now doesn't feel right to me. I feel like we both haven't been putting as much effort in as we should've been,"

"I agree, I know with me personally I haven't been trying my best and that has affected you and I'm sorry. You're right, this doesn't feel right, hasn't felt right in a while." Xiaojun explained.

"I think...I think we should go on a break, just to see how we do," Hwayoung whispered.

"That sounds okay with me," Xiaojun's voice wavered. Even though he had thought about it, and was going to bring it up anyways, doesn't mean it doesn't hurt any less. "We both need it,"

Hwayoung smiled at him as he pulled her into his embrace.

"It will be okay," He whispered.

"I love you Xiaojun,"

"I love you too Hwayoung,"

The Roses

A couple days after the talk between her and Xiaojun, Hwayoung felt more content with herself. Like she a weight has been lifted off her shoulders. Xiaojun was still of course very prominent in her life but that was a given. Yes there had been some awkward moments but besides that they were doing fine.

Over the next couple of days, everything was going good. Her relationship with the members had gotten better. Hwayoung did give them hell the first couple of days but they were fine now. Things have been going so good that they almost for about the man who wanted Hwayoung all to himself. Keyword: almost.

Since things had died down for a little bit they had allowed Hwayoung to go to practices and some of her solo schedules.

So now we find ourselves in a practice filled with all 24 members. After a day of hard work they all gathered in one to eat together. At the expense of the 95 liners wallets. Laughter and loud talking filled the room. Happiness radiated through everybody.
