Reaching home , as he was about to get out of his car but then something caught his attention ,there was a card lying on the passenger seat. and within second he got the idea ,to whom it must have belong to. Picking up the card, it was her college ID card . Destiny kicking it again, the thought of getting one more chance to meet her, one more chance to get to know how she ended up here in Mumbai made him inquisitive all over again. He is a writer , a storyteller. He loves to know about people , their stories her story and the journey from Kolkata to Mumbai might have a lot of untold stories. The first time he met her ,it was in kolkata. He went there with a purpose. His script,.... his script demands all of that and being a passionate theatre director and writer he becomes a puppet when it comes to the script or to the story, and beyond that it was his dream project. He wanted to make something on that. There was a reason behind it. A very deep and profound reason . He wanted to make a film on that particular script . For his mother. because his mother was connected to the same.
Talking about his mother, what a lady she was ,a perfect wife.... correction a housewife ,perfect mother ,a philanthropist with a benevolent heart . She was the soul reason of him to become something in his life. He never wanted to do anything for his own self. Strange no! But thats true, sometime a person, a particular parson become so crucial n integral part of ur life that u even forget about ur ownself. And that u do out of love, out of admiration n respect not with any sort of force or push. She used to sing ,sing so beautifully .....this artistic seed he only get from his mother. she was the only person in his life to whom he was closest to, as a child his whole life used to centrifugates around his mother. He was a complete mumma's boy ,always clung to her. His affection towards his mother is undefinable even till today.
In his teenage whenever his mother used to sing he used to play guitar for her and both the mother son duo used to enjoy that moment with the complete serenity. She always talked about women's right but never cliched it with the much accost about and overrated feminism and women empowerment that hails at present. She loved being a housewife , never complained about it. Though she herself was strong and talented enough to make her career in singing ,she had everything to be that .money, talent ,skill ,knowlege ,sensibility Everything! but still she choose to be with her family, with her son whom she loved beyond her life she wanted to raise him with all the goodness she had, and nurture him to be the best, but destiny again kicked in and it was the time. Her Time to leave.... to live for The Almighty. Leaving totally broken and shattered Siddharth behind her, he was completely devastated with his mother's demise . He was only 18 years old when she left. For once he thought , there isn't any reason left for him to stay either ,he too wanted to be with his mother, he wasn't satisfied with the quantum of time he was allotted to be with his mother. He also wanted to die and the worst part was that he couldn't be with his mother in her last time and that wasn't his fault it was someone else's. It was something else. His mother was lying on the death bed so peacefully without any stress lines on her face but there was a tinge of discontentment on her visage, for not getting to meet her son during her last time, and he can clearly see that on his deceased mother face . Words were not required for them to talk, even when she was alive it was very enigmatic. They used to understand each others flight, emotions just by feeling it ,by seeing each other. and there wasn't any word required between them to convey anything to each other . That's what the beauty of every mother and his child relationship is. A mother can sense what her child feeling at the moment and she quickly make efforts to make up to them whether they do it by scolding them or by showing affection or by talking to them in their language as a friend.Even today it it feels like a stab in his heart this is the most painful memory of his life nothing more heart wrenching has happened in his life, not even his failure, his failure as an individual, his failure as a husband his failureas a father maybe! He had no idea when his eyes started streaming . He was completely into the vortex of his past looking absentmindedly towards sana's ID card. He didn't knew when sleep succumbed his mind and body. He laid there in his car only and what an irony no one actually cared. Even he didn't care. But in the midst of all fiasco he completely forgot about his son the only person that was waiting for him ,waiting for his chocolates cakes, ice cream but that never came to him that night as Siddharth slept in his car forgetting about it completely . That night his son was yearning for his father and he was yearning for his mother.
