"Breath, Yeonjun. Breath in, breath out..."

Soobin instructed calmly as Yeonjun lied on the bed, eyes staring at the ceiling above. Jeongguk was sitting next to him, placing a damp cloth on Yeonjun's forehead while looking at him with concern. The male was yellow and shivering lightly. As his breathing became normal, he sat down on the bed. Soobin took the soup he made and helped Yeonjun to have it. Gulping down the spoonful of soup, Yeonjun tried to say something.

"You believe me right? I do see him. His gho---oh my God... Leave me alone... I did nothing... Please don't..."

He screamed again, as Jeongguk and Soobin facepalmed. It was a sudden shock for Yeonjun when he saw V and Jae behind Jeongguk before. And now Yeonjun curled under the bed as he pulled the blanket over his head. Soobin placed the soup bowl on the table near him and looked at Jeongguk. They conveyed worry and a bit of laughter silently.

"How is he? Why is he behaving like this?"

The two officers heard. They turned to meet their gaze with V and followed by Jae. The mint green eyes looking at Jeongguk then at the lump on the bed. His eyebrows raised and lips frowning, just like Jae. Jeongguk stared at them then glanced at Soobin. What are they supposed to say?

Before they could tell anything, Yeonjun peeked his head out of the blanket and yelled at them, making the two officers wanted to smack him and the other two males wanted to kick his balls.

"Go away, Lucifers. Don't come near me and my friends...

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our debts and we forgive
our debtors,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil,
for thine are the kingdom and the power
and the glory, forever. Amen.

Go away... Shoo shoo..."

Yeonjun made a cross with his fingers and chanted the prayer again and again. V and Jae, on the other hand, tried their best to not curse and kill the male. Jeongguk was tongue-tied. How was he going to explain this? He looked at Yeonjun with a pleading expression, like begging him to stop.

"Yeonjun, they're... They're not what you think... Please... Stop this..."

Jeongguk tried. Yeonjun glanced at him dumbfounded. He was hugging the blanket tightly. Soobin has a hand of his on Yeonjun's shoulder, trying to calm his nerves.

"What do you mean by they're not what I think ?" Yeonjun asked. But before Jeongguk can reply, Jae cut him off.

"Yeah, we're not ghosts. Duh. We have shadows and reflection."

He scoffed. The room filled with heavy tension. Yeonjun's eyes still couldn't believe what they said. But he stopped throwing tantrum. They were a bit relieved and avoided the gaze of V and Jae. As soon as the situation will clear, they will leave the place. No one is gonna believe them if they said they didn't meet with a ghost there. This place was that haunted.

After minutes, Yeonjun completed his soup and Soobin wiped his face. They sat there, with V and Jae in the same room, sitting on the couch away from them. Yeonjun glared at them like silently asking them to leave the room. It was Jae again who broke the silence.

"Seriously, who are you guys?"

Well, there's no specific reason to hide their profession and personality from them. They're officials. Why would they fear anyone? So, rather than running away, this time Jeongguk decided to face it, in a very professional way.
