"Where are we going?"

The silver-haired male asked, holding on to the officer's waist. The wind passing them harshly as the younger accelerated the motorbike. Taehyung's hold tightened, placing his head on Jeongguk's shoulder, he enjoyed the warmth of them. The officer slightly turned his head and smiled softly.

"Somewhere..."

He whispered enough loud to hear for the other. Taehyung raised an eyebrow, not really satisfied with the answer. He hummed with a pout and rested his head on Jeongguk's shoulder while watching the scenery. The smooth wind making his hair a mess but he doesn't care at this moment, especially when his heart literally jumping inside his ribcage, excited to see where Jeongguk taking them. When they passed Itaewon, Taehyung was puzzled. He asked Jeongguk again but he got only a "you'll see" from the officer.

It was another morning, a special one with Jeongguk. Taehyung was confused when Jeongguk woke him up early, told him to get ready and the elder didn't deny the plan. When he walked out after all set to go, he found Jeongguk standing next to Yoongi's motorbike, patiently waiting for him. As he hopped in, all he could think was how close they're gonna be while sitting like that. The pink-tinted cheeks heated up and Taehyung unknowingly hid his face behind Jeongguk's broad back. Sure they're a little close more than the first time they met in the hospital according to Taehyung's memory. They talk a lot, play with Tannie, Jeongguk cooks for them. While Taehyung sleeps in the bedroom, Jeongguk settles in the other room. It was good, living under the same roof, inhaling each other's scent, and sleep with a content smile- they were doing good.

When the cool Itaewon wind left them, Taehyung felt uneasy. He trusts Jeongguk with everything. But the warmth and chilliness of his favorite place leaving them was a bit overwhelming for the silver-haired male. The roads they passed seem strange and unknown to Taehyung. The moody sky after the heavy rain, the thick woods on the sides, and less traffic on the road settling a weird irritation inside of him, a kind of feeling he wanted to avoid at any cost. But as long as he's with Jeongguk, Taehyung was ready to face everything. A small touch on his hand brought him back to reality, and he realized it was Jeongguk as if understanding the elder's nervousness the younger held his hand which was holding tight on Jeongguk's shirt. A small smile plastered on Taehyung's lips as he and his heart relaxed under the small gesture of the other.

The ride was long. In between, they stopped to eat and take a rest before drive again. Jeongguk still keeping the curiousness of where are they going, smiled fondly at his lover who whined several times to know the surprise. When the motorbike pulled to an unfamiliar place, Taehyung blinked twice. There was a slight crack in his memory as he stared at the place. The dazed pieces of his brain sparkling under the evening hue when he read the name board. It was captivating, demanding his attention in seconds.

Dear Moon.

Taehyung was trying his best to hold on to his own, not break down. Because the wind here in Busan and Dear Moon doesn't felt foreign to him. His heart and body relaxing at the perfect dusk falling around. He was forcing himself to reckon the scattered chips of his memory. He knows that was gonna hurt him so badly, but the anticipation in him doesn't help his soul to calm down. Taehyung held Jeongguk's hand and stopped in the middle. Confused, the younger looked at him, cupped his cheeks, and kissed his forehead. Jeongguk knows, within a look, he understands Taehyung, leaving no other way than falling for him harder. Leaning into the touch, Taehyung shook his head, tears brimming up in his eyes and he whispered out.

"I-- I don't remember anything, Jeonggukkie..."

Finally, the teardrops left from his eyes, and he throw himself in Jeongguk's arms. The officer calmed him, rubbing soothing circles on his back and whispering sweet nothings. Jeongguk doesn't care if Taehyung remembers or not. It doesn't matter anymore. They're there, still, together, his sweetheart is in his arms and trusts him more than anyone. As long as they're together, as long as they're in the same universe, they can create the best memories together. And who can give the guarantee of being permanent in this world?
