𝐄𝐔𝐑𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐊 𝐁𝐎𝐓𝐇 kids from Seth and her brother as she stood in the Kane Household, deciding to stay there for a night to attempt to keep herself calm. She smiled down at Angelica and Riley as she carried the two into their room that Newt had made up. Different barbies and action figures scattered across the floor, the woman stepped over each one. She first placed Riley on his bed before placing down Angelica. She still had yet to read the letter - putting it off more and more. She decided that night she would finally read it. Eurydice noticed Newt enter the room and sit down on Riley's bed, tucking his nephew in. She smiled slightly before copying his actions with Angelica.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 back up momentarily hearing movement outside. Eurydice went over to the window before giving Newt a small nod as if saying that it was nothing, just Seth guarding the house which was confirmed when his scent filled their senses. Eurydice sighed as she sat down on the side of Angelica's bed while Newt was on Riley's once more. The two had frowns but it was only obvious due to Alice and Jasper disappearing to find witnesses. Newt felt bad for his sister but knew that the two left to keep their children safe.

"It's about Mom and Dad isn't it, Mama?" Angelica questioned.

"Are we going to die?" Riley questioned Newt causing the older twin's to falter.

"No one is going to die, I'll burn the world down before anyone even reaches you," Eurydice answered as she pushed a bit of Angelica's blonde locks away, "They went to get help. We'll figure this all out."

"They went to do something for the two of you," Newt gave the two a cheeky grin as he nudged Riley's arm.

"Mommy, Uncle Newt, can you tell us a story?" Riley questioned as his brown eyes scanned over both adults.

"One, it's getting late," Eurydice hummed as she smiled over at Newt, "Which story should we tell?"

"The Chimera in our kitchen?" Newt offered, knowing how much Emmett talked about that one.

"Alright," Eurydice resisted the urge to roll her eyes, "You know what Mommy and Uncle Newt are," She hummed as her eyes trailed between her children.

"Demigods!" Both grinned, oh the innocence they held.

"Yes, demigods," Newt let out a small chuckle, "Monsters used to chase your Mommy and I, one time when she was over at your Mom and Dad's, I was here with a friend," Newt paused as Eurydice looked in his direction, it had been rough on the two with Kaz's betrayal in the air, "A monster managed to catch my scent. It came into the kitchen and attacked us. We had to find weapons and fight, despite being so small compared to it. I got thrown but kept fighting, once we managed to finally destroy it I called your Mommy."

"And told me not to come here for a few hours," She added with a fond grin, "Once I heard what had happened I scolded him. Uncle Emmett was making fun of me and in awe of what Uncle Newt fought, I tried to hit him with a dagger but Mom and Dad stopped me," She played with her fingers noticing Riley asleep and Angelica nearly there.

"Goodnight, τα παιδιά μου," my children, Eurydice kissed Angelica's head before kissing Riley's once Newt moved.

"Come on," Newt wrapped an arm around his sister's shoulder as the two cut off the lights and exited the room.

𝐄𝐔𝐑𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐑 head against her brother's shoulder as they entered the kitchen. The note sat on the counter, both twin's eyes scanned it. Newt let go of Eurydice as he leaned against the wall, the girl walking closer to the paper before opening it.

We are doing what we can, don't be mad at us.

They'll come when the snow sticks to the ground,

if all fails, take the kids and get far away. You

and Newt can keep them safe, we know you

can. We love you, tell the kids we love them.

𝐄𝐔𝐑𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐏𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 letter down as she let the words sink in. How could they expect her to just take their kids away and leave them behind? Eurydice placed the letter down as she ran her hands through her curls. Newt's eyes burned into her back, causing her to turn around. His amber-eyes scanned over her as if he was reading her like a boy reading a letter. She handed it to him to read, he looked hesitant before taking it. His eyes went over the paper before looking back at his sister.

"They are just trying to look out for every situation," He tried, even though he sounded slightly unsure.

"I'd rather the kids have two parents than one," Eurydice stated as she looked at Newt.

His eyes widened at her comment, "Eurydice, you can't be serious."

"I am, logically, most kids grow up with two parents. We grew up with one who was extremely absent who isn't much family anymore," She stated as her eyes scanned over her brother, "But I know I could never put you through the pain I felt when you died. Even though you've felt it, it wasn't permanent though."

"I don't want to lose you," Newt mumbled, "I know that's selfish but it was always you and me. Even when Kaz was here, it was still you and me. You are my other half, but I can't ask you to come with me and not fight with your husband and wife. I can take them away if it comes to it, but someone has to make it out alive. You or them. Preferably you all."

"Jacob is taking the two away from the scene if it becomes a battle, we know if we feel one of us dying we can shadow travel after them," Eurydice pulled him into a tight hug, "I love you."

Newt's arms wrapped tightly around her, his face burying in his sister's neck, "I love you too, Ghostie."
