𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐌𝐀𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 rather quickly. Eurydice looked out the window of Newt's home and nearly died yet again upon noticing the snow sticking to the ground. It all felt so surreal. Bella learned of Alice's plan for Renesmee, she didn't like it too well. The atmosphere had changed around the Cullen home. It was slightly cheerful for the holidays but also quite dark. Eurydice and Bella were neck to neck more often, both females starting to worry more and more about the problem. The battle nearing, the feeling of loss lingering in the air, it took the holiday spirit out of Eurydice completely. She could fake it for her kids, but everyone else saw right through her. Newt had helped her get the kid's over to the Cullen's, since the two didn't have any family of their own besides the Clan of Vampires. She smiled as the two arrived in the home, the Cullen's had gifts for the little ones. Angelica and Riley were excited about that.

"How are you holding up?" Rosalie asked as she sat beside Eurydice, watching the twins play with their new toys on the ground.

"I don't think you want the answer to that," Eurydice answered as she twisted her wedding rings around.

"Everything will be okay," Rosalie placed a hand on the girl's knee, "Nothing will happen."

"How do you know that?" Eurydice questioned, "All I can feel is loss. There aren't any certain death's yet but it's brewing. It's like the world's taunting me with this curse."

"Eury," Rosalie's voice was stern, "You don't need to worry."

"Then why does it feel like I have to?" She questioned as her eyes moved from her kids to the shadows.

"Hey hey! Who wants to play in the snow?" Seth questioned as Newt and Emmett were on their feet quickly.

"Us!" The twins cheered.

"Then come on!" The three males raced the small twins out the door, everyone watching to make sure no one got hurt.

𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐁𝐄 happy, she should be out there standing cheering her kids on. Though, she didn't know what was to come. Eurydice knew that she shouldn't dwell on the future, yet she did. She knew Newt felt what she did, she knew that he was as skeptical as her. Yet, she couldn't seem to shake the feeling. She didn't want to talk, she didn't want touch. She wanted her mates and she wanted this all to be over.

"Eurydice, why don't you go hunt," Esme offered, ignoring the looks that other vampires held, "You haven't hunted in weeks."

"I can come with you," Rosalie offered but the woman shook her head as she rose to her feet.

"She needs space," Lucien spoke as he looked around, "Don't judge a girl none of you know."

𝐄𝐔𝐑𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐆𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐇𝐈𝐌 a tiny smile. One that barely seemed real as she rose to her feet. Nodding in Lucien's direction before she made her way out the door. Pausing to look over at her children. The two build a snowman while Newt and Emmett wrestled in the snow. Seth occasionally helps with placing the snowman together. They seemed so happy, so pure. Eurydice was slightly envious of their innocence, of their ability to ignore the situation at hand. She waved over at the two before bolting through the woods.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 in a blur as she ran. The snow was biting at her skin, though she couldn't feel the cold any longer. Not that it ever bothered her, the Underworld had always been quite cold. She jumped over branches and slid down rocks. She felt her throat burn as the smell of blood filled her nostrils. Her head immediately snapped in the direction. She slowly crept over to the mountain lion, venom pooling in her mouth. Her hand placed itself down on a bit of moss as she watched it's actions before striking.

𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐘 from the mountain lion after a few minutes. The animal was completely drained of it's blood. Her eyes regained their amber color as she popped her neck. A bit of blood trickled from her lips, she wiped it away with her knuckle. She let out a groan before letting the shadows dance around her fingers and letting out a scream of annoyance as she took down a tree. She was at a breaking point, and her only joy was imagining that tree or mountain lion was Aro, Caius, or Marcus. She felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She wanted to scream and throw it but she just picked it up and flipped it open.

"Abortion clinic, yesterday's loss is today's sauce! Who is this and why the hell are you calling me?" She faked enthusiasm before sounding clearly annoyed.

"What the - Eury," Alice seemed taken off guard by her response, "Where are you? I just saw.."

"Me ripping out a mountain lion's jugular or me screaming at the world after doing that?" She questioned trying not to sound as annoyed.

"I saw you take down a tree with a scream," Alice stated, her tone making Eurydice think she was rolling her eyes.

"Hi darlin'," Jasper took the phone from Alice.

"Hi," Eurydice mumbled as she looked at the fallen tree, "The snow is sticking."

"I know," Jasper's voice signaled he was as excited as her.

"I don't want to lose anyone," Eurydice sat down in the snow, staring out at the woods, "But the feeling is getting stronger."

It went silent for a few moments before he spoke, "It'll all work out. Don't worry."

"I hope so," Eurydice sighed.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐏𝐋𝐄 𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐄𝐃 for another thirty minutes before they hung up. Eurydice wondered what the Volturi thought about a Vampire who could reproduce, a vampire who could reproduce kids with a godly lineage. She hated the fact that her powers could be passed to her kids - as useful as they were she found them being a curse. She slid her phone back into her pocket as she ran for the Cullen home, pulling her hood on her head as more snow began to fall.
