Every word hit like a mosquito bite. So much so that it was driving him to the point where he felt he needed to slap something to be less annoyed. And similarly to mosquitoes the annoying ones didn't know they were driving him insane. At this point they thought they were just stating facts, like when mosquitoes suck blood to survive they don't realize they're wrongdoing.

Every insistence that they were "just friends" was testing Hyunjin. He was almost certain the universe had set him up just to see if he would crack. These annoying imbeciles had absolutely no idea how much he had to restrain himself from slapping them. And while he wasn't a violence-solves-problems type of guy the thought of slapping them right now felt so satisfying. Of course he couldn't do that for two reasons. One, because no matter how annoyed he got at them they were still his friends and he wouldn't hit them. And two, because if he did slap them he'd have to explain why and that would lead to lots of confusion. Plus he couldn't explain.

"Honestly it's hard to believe that you're even friends; you act like your arch nemesis or something," Sangman stated. and Jinwoo laughed along with him. There it was again. That word friends. Sure, they had agreed that for the time being they wouldn't tell anyone about their engagement so everyone still thought they were "just friends". Hyunjin glanced at Gerard. He was trying his best to laugh along but Hyunjin could tell that he was annoyed at them too. Great, not only were they bothering him they were also annoying his precious Gerard.

Hyunjin reflected back on the deal he and Gerard had made. It was really only made because Hyunjin wasn't comfortable with telling people about them. Gerard had said that he was fine with telling people but, didn't because Hyunjin wasn't comfortable with it. Well what was more uncomfortable was their  friends insisting on them being "friends".

     "Hey, you know-"

"Enough!" Hyunjin suddenly shouted, startlingly everyone. Hyunjin kept his arms crossed and didn't say anything else, supposedly waiting for someone to speak first.

     "Well-"

"Gerard and I are married!" Hyunjin shouted as soon as Jinwoo started to speak up.

Everyone, including Gerard, stared at Hyunjin is disbelief. They shared a few moments of eye contact, speaking without words.

"Um, well," Gerard started slowly turning away from Hyunjins eyes, "Yeah that's true-we are- it's true...we're married."

Overwhelming silence filled the room. Damnit, Hyunjin thought, now I got us, especially Gerard, all in this awkward situation I could've-

     "Wait so-"

"You were married and didn't tell us?!??" Jinwoo exclaimed as he jumped up, shocking everyone. He actually looked rather upset. "No, engagement announcement, no wedding invite, no nothing!"

"Jinwoo, what are you going on about?" Sangman asked, confused much like the rest of them.

"Sangman they got married and didn't bother to tell us!" Jinwoo was genuinely offended that his friends never told them they got married. And then all of a sudden  they just drop this bombshell like nothing?! No, Jinwoo decided, he would not let them get away with this.
