A week had passed since squad seven—— my team, had passed the survival exercise. We all had boring D-ranked missions for the last few days and this day was no exception.

We had intercom devices and searched for a missing cat—— no, rather, capture the cat.

"Sasuke, I'm at point B."

"Sakura, I'm at point C."

"[name] desu, and point D stands for di—"

Sensei interfered, "Don't even think of continuing that sentence."

I blinked, "...ck." I could hear him sigh in disappointment.

"Naruto, I'm at point A, believe it."

"Go slow, Naruto and [name]. Have you seen any signs of him?" I sucked air through my teeth and perched on a tree branch as surveillance with my 20-20 eyesight. "Hm? No."

"Okay, Squad Seven." Sensei states before I interrupt. "The target has moved, I repeat, the target has moved to the south-east and hid in a bush!"

My teammates reveal their hiding spot which is just 5 meters away from Tora while I was with Kakashi. "Over there," I point out as my teammates subtly moved closer, eventually reaching the spot where Tora resided.

"What's your distance from the target?" Sensei asks. "Five meters. I'm ready, just give the signal." Naruto answers, hiding behind a tree.

"I'm ready too."

"So am I."

I glanced down at sensei, "Once we are done, Sensei, be a dear and fetch me (favorite food)."

He shrugged and responded, "If you can catch Tora then yes, we can have (favorite food)." My (e/c) eyes beamed in excitement as I hop of the branch and sneakily walked over to the cat with ease.

As I reached my destination, and distanced myself from the cat, I pulled out a can of catnip and poured some in my hand. "Here, aggressive scratchy kitty.."

I watch as the cat surrounds me while purring, rubbing his fur against my legs before feasting on the catnip. Once finished, he leaped up into my arms and I hoist him up, caressing his fur.

"Minna, the cat is in the bag." They all look a bit surprised but shook it off. "Can you verify ribbon, right ear?" Sensei asked as my team moves out of their hiding spots. "Affirmative, we got a positive ID." Emo responds.

To the cat and my surprise, sunshine snatches him from me and held him tight. "I got him, I got him!"

The cat growled, punching and clawing at sunshine which I laughed at, "I'm so proud that you're an idiot, darling.."

"(n/n)-chan, help me!" He pleaded, grabbing the hem of my mesh turtleneck.. over a thin-strap shirt of course. No way am I going to wear a mesh turtleneck without any over under it. "....Mission accomplished."

"CAN'T WE GET A BETTER MISSION THAN THIS? I HATE CATS!"

This figuratively deafens everyone.
