"All right, it is time we choose our candidates for the Chunin Examinations. To begin, will those in charge of the rookie Genin step forward?" Hiruzen spoke as three Jounins stepped forward.

You fixed your blazer and dusted the non-existent dirt off your (f/c) off-shoulder blouse.

"Kakashi, Kurenai, and Asuma. Speak up. Are there any in your squads you'd recommend who are ready for the exams despite being inexperienced? As you already know, any genin that carries out eight or more missions is technically eligible for the examinations. Albeit, only you can decide when they are ready." You uttered, holding a sheet of paper with information on them.

You continued on your speech, "It is known that genin require much longer training periods at least twice that many missions. Alright, uhm.." You read the paper and selected Kakashi to start.

He speaks up. "I lead squad seven, Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, (Y/N) Yuurie. I, Kakashi Hatake, recommend all four of these genin for the Chūnin selection exams."

Hiruzen then chimed, "Sorry Kakashi. But (Y/N) will be too buried in their work so they won't be joining the exams." Kakashi nodded. You smile gratefully.

Kurenai was next as she did the same hand gesture Kakashi did; which was holding two fingers up. "And my squad is number eight. Hinata Hyuuga, Kiba Inuzuka, Shino Aburame. And now I, Kurenai Yuhi, recommend all three."

Asuma then continued, "And my squad is number 10. Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi. And now I, Asuma Sarutobi, recommend all three."

After hearing the three Jounin teachers', chatter was heard around the room. Haku and Zabuza paid no mind and chatted about their own stuff.

Then, Iruka speaks up. "Hold on, just a minute." You answered, "What is it, ex-Sensei?" You even had to smile so innocently.

"Lord Hokage, with all respect, the ten names that were once just given were all my students at the Academy. I know their skills and abilities. Every one of them has great promise, but it's too soon. They need more experience before they are tested. If they try now, they are sure to fail the exam." Iruka mentions.

Kakashi lazily turned to Iruka and says, "When I became a Chūnin, I was six years younger than Naruto is now." You giggled, "Good for you but they ain't no depressed children except for that mf with a duck's ass for hair – coughcough.. my bestie. And my child, Naruto~" You fan yourself dramatically but they all seemed to ignore you.

They did not just–

"Naruto is nothing like you!" Iruka stepped up, "Are you trying to destroy him?" You tried to calm him down but he ignored you again.
