    By the very long distance, you could hear Inari running around town and knocking on doors to have more people fight on the bridge. Your lips curled up into a smile. 'He's changed.'

   Although, your own thoughts were interrupted as you heard lightning crackling. Using Haku's shoulder as a balance tool, You turn to where the sound had came from and boom. Lighting was manifesting in Kakashi's hand.

   Listening to both the lightning and your "helper". Honestly, you an enemy, held on to the person you fight against to help you balance your body and he isn't even trying to pry you off. Not one bit. But I guess it makes sense because he's already beaten up.

   "Go on. Finish it. Kill me." Naruto grunted while backing away slowly which only caused Haku to walk closer. "Why do you hesitate? I thought you wanted to be a mighty warrior."

   Filled with hesitation, Naruto reasoned. "That's not it! Do you really believe that's all there is to it, just fighting and killing until there's only one man left standing? There's a lot more to being shinobi than that, and there are other ways of showing your strength than just by beating someone in battle."

   With a small smile, Haku responded calmly. "I've had a feeling all along, " He raised his hand and grabbed your hand, gently pushing it off his shoulder and held your hand instead. "From the first moment we met in the woods. We are a lot alike. I'm sure you know what I mean. I'm only sorry that it must be your hand that is tainted with my unworthy blood."

   Naruto's eyes shook, "Sure about this? And you're positive that it's the only way?" Haku answers with a "yes" in return. "The weird thing is, if we met in another time and place, I think that maybe we could have been friends."

  Naruto's eyes shot open as he takes out a kunai and charged at Haku who, in terms of not wanting others involved, let go of your hand and pushed you away. "Hey wATCH IT!"

   Still they both ignored me. I rolled my eyes, "Rude."

   " Yes, that's right. Hold fast to your dreams.", Haku said weakly but due to "Zabuza-is-in-danger-instincts", Haku gets a hold of Naruto's arm before he strikes and performs hand signs. "Sorry, Naruto, change of plans. I'm not ready to die quite yet."

   You knew where this was going and you couldn't do shit except for reviving him with your blood. So you sat there, getting bonked with a wooden plank. "Ow..."

   Kakashi's chidori went through Haku's chest as he grabbed Kakashi's arm to keep him in place, "Zabuza...."

   The three, including Sakura and Tazuna felt shocked.

   Zabuza laughed, "So my future is all used up, huh? Wrong again, Kakashi."

     Far away – but not too far, Naruto heard Sakura's scream. "Is that him?" He turned to where the sound came from to see a silhouette of Haku, Zabuza and Kakashi Haku kept his tight grip on Kakashi's hand.

From the corner of your eyes, you could clearly see Naruto scurrying over. "I don't get it, what the heck's going on here?" He whispered in shock.

     Blood was everywhere. May it be splattered on the floor, Haku's clothes, Kakashi's sleeve and so on.. "Isn't the masked boy?" Tazuna questioned.

     Zabuza bellows a laugh, "I knew I found treasure when I found you boy. You didn't just give me life, you gave me Kakashi's." Kakashi looks up and narrowed his eyes at him. "Sensei, watch out!"

     Immediately, Zabuza grabbed the hilt of his kubikiribōchō. Kakashi tries to escape from my grip but I wouldn't let him. My dead body was stiff already. Zabuza swung the kubikiribōchō at the three of us. Instantly, Kakashi jumped away with Haku in his arms.

"You'll pay for that!" Naruto stated. "No, Naruto. Stay out of this fight. This is my battle. Zabuza's mine."

Kakashi looks down at Haku's corpse before using his hand to close his eyes and laid him down. "Naruto! Over here! Naruto!" Sakura called causing Naruto's mood to lower.

"So you and Sasuke-kun are all right?" She waves her hand as Anruto looked away, "Oh, uhm.." Sakura lowered her hand and asked, "What's wrong? Where is Sasuke-kun anyway?"

Naruto grit his teeth, not wanting to tell.

"Kakashi, I'd stay focused if I were you." As Zabuza charged at him, Kakashi lifts his feet and kicks his chin. "Let me take you to him, Sakura. As long as we stay together you won't be disobeying your Sensei's orders." Sakura held Tazuna's hand and thanked him before running past Naruto to Sasuke's corpse.

Sakura was aghast as Tazuna turned the other way. She kneeled down and placed her hand on Sasuke's cheek, "Oh, his body's cold. This isn't just one of his genjutsu tricks, is it?" She asked while holding back her tears.

You body flickered your way there and spoke up, "Of course it isn't. Why would my bff, Sasuke use a genjutsu trick right now?" Your comment made her feel even more sad but you didn't care as Tazuna turned to face you three.

"Go on. You don't need to be brave on my account. Go ahead and let your feelings out, Sakura. It's all right." Sakura caressed Sasuke's cheek as she mentioned, "I was the best, aced every test in the academy. The perfect student."

Tazuna and you were confused. "Did you know there are more than 100 principles of shinobi conduct? I memorized every single one. I used to love it when they tested us on them. Gave me a chance to show how smart I was. I remember so clearly this one exam. They asked us to explain the 25th principle. I got it right, of course."

Sakura sobbed, tears streaming down her face, "A shinobi never shows his feelings, no matter what the circumstances. Feelings are a weakness that only cloud his judgement and weaken his sense of duty." She cried on Sasuke's shirt, "Sasuke!"

'To put such unbearable burden on a young girl's shoulders. If that's the shinobi way, you can have it.' Tazuna thought as Sakura sobbed even harder that it could be heard from a mile away. You rolled your eyes and munched on an apple by the sidelines.

"Jee, calm yo ass down," You state before handing Sakura over to Tazuna and took out a kunai from your weapon pouch, carving your initials on your wrist and let your blood heal Sasuke and his wounds. "He'll be fine, he's not dead."

"Well, well..." you body flickered to Sakura and Tazuna as you heard Gato and so did the others. "So this is how it turns out, huh? Did quite a job on you, Zabuza. You look like yesterday's sashimi. I must say I'm disappointed." It appears that Gato and his men had arrived at the bridge.

Kakashi's eyes widened when he saw you took the hit instead of Haku — much like Rin Nohara did. The other two were shocked as well, not knowing the reason. "(Y/N)..? Why?" Haku questions.

You turned to him with a smile, "I don't know really..., my body moved on it's own." You released a chuckle, "Funny isn't it..? That I'd take the hit for an enemy.." You whispered with your head cocked to the side. "(Y/N)!!" Sakura shouted.
