Mar opened her front door, something she found herself doing a lot these days.

She liked it more when nobody visited her, to be quite frank.

Mar choked on her spit at the sight of John Kreese.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

"I came to offer you a spot on the team." Kreese said as he smriked.

Mar widened her eyes before she burst out laughing. "I'm not joining Cobra Kai, Kreese."

"How about you come with me to today's lesson and overlook?" Kreese asked, folding his arms.

"How about no?"

"Just come just this once and see how we operate. No big deal." Kreese persisted.

Mar sighed out, massaging her temples knowing that Kreese wasn't going to stop.

She grabbed one of the two sets of house keys. "Dad, I'm going out!"

Kreese smirked as he stepped to the side so that Mar could walk outside.

"Okay, just be back by ten or text me if you have to stay out later than that!" Michael shouted back.

Mar shut the front door, locking it.

"Class, we have a visitor." Kreese announced as he and Mar entered Cobra Kai.

Hawk's smile fell as he saw Mar.

Mar glanced to Alyssa, expecting her to also be glaring but Alyssa just wore a guilty look on her face, causing Mar to furrow her brows slightly.

Hawk clenched his jaw as he walked up to Mar. "What are you doing here?"

"Hey! Wasn't it her boyfriend and her brother who pushed Miguel off the railings?!" A random kid called out.

The class began chattering.

"Class, class, settle down. Mariah is here to overlook this session and hopefully, if it goes well, she'll join us." Kreese smiled.

"I never said that." Mar said with wide eyes.

"We don't want you here anyways." Hawk snapped.

"Oh but we do." Kreese smirked. "And you'll see first hand why we need her here later, Hawk. For now, I want everyone to get into natural stance in a circle around the wooden pole."

Hawk glared at Mar before he walked away and back to his spots.

Mar glanced to Alyssa who was avoiding eye contact with her.

Mar eyed the wooden beam in the centre of the mat, a potted plant at the top of it.

"Never underestimate your enemy." Kreese said, his hands behind his back as he walked around the class. "Even if you think they're weaker than you, you have to stay one step ahead of them. That's the only way to guarantee a victory. Is that understood?"

"Yes, Sensei." The class responded.

"Good. Now let's see if you truly understand the lesson." Kreese said with a smirk. "I want you to kick this tree off the top. Red, you start."

One student rushed forward, trying to jump to kick the plant but failed miserably.

"Pathetic. Rickenberger, show him."

Mar eyed the plant.

To jump and kick that plant was impossible.

She knew exactly what the students had to do to kick the plant off of the beam.
