"Clarke?" Gabriel stated with a soft smile.
"Gabriel..." I smiled, quickly realizing, "Octavia, Echo? Bellamy??"
He quickly looked to his feet before looking back to us, "Octavia and Echo are here. But Bellamy... I'm sorry but Bellamy is dead."
I instantly felt a knot in my throat and turned to Clarke. I took a spot beside her and gripped onto her hand firmly, which she squeezed back just as hard. She was fighting to keep it together. The room fell quiet while Miller and the others took over the room. I took a step in front of Clarke to catch her focus.
"We do this for him, okay? We do this for everyone. For our family." I nodded, taking her into a hug.
Another man, calling himself the Shepherd, entered the room. We tried to speak in our own language, but he somehow was able to understand us. From that moment on, he had this look in his eyes whenever he looked at Clarke. He kept making steps towards her that had us all on edge.
He leaned in closer before speaking, "Calliope? Please, is she in there?"
"Yes." Clarke sighed as she raised her gun, "She's in here."
"Our friends." I interrupted, "Bring them here. Now."
Gabriel went over to the door and opened it. The shepherd ordered his people to stand down, and bring our friends in. 3 people in suits came walking towards us and I was instantly confused. Why would they bring their own people into see us? The 3 of them stopped just a few steps away, and revealed their faces.
I let out a breath of relief to see Octavia, Echo, and Diyoza all stood before us. I couldn't help but smile. Only my smile vanished when Octavia didn't even seem to flinch when she saw me again. Her eyes wouldn't even lock onto mine. And Echo didn't look like someone who was grieving Bellamy's death.
Something was wrong. Not only did the disregard us, but they fell back in line with the other people that were in suits. Raven, Jordan, Nylah, and Gabriel chose to stay in the stone room, while we went to meet with our friends... alone.
"Hey," Raven grabbed my arm, "Get her back, okay? None of this matters if you two don't make it out."

We entered the room slowly, and quietly. We didn't believe that they were on their side anymore... but you never really knew. I paused just outside the door, trying to think of what to say. Clarke entered first and was greeted by a hug from Octavia. It was no secret that they were hugging over the loss of Bellamy. Miller got the next hug from her. I let out a breath and finally entered the room myself, immediately locking eyes with Octavia. Tears were on the rim of her eyes as she quickly wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me as close as possible as she could.
"I've missed you so much." She cried.
I just smiled and hugged her tighter, burrowing my face into the crook of her neck. Embracing the moment. We parted for a moment to push our foreheads and noses together... just like we used to. Just when I thought one of us was going to lean in, another person stormed into the room.
"No! Don't! She's not with them." Diyoza smiled, "That's my daughter, Hope."
"Clarke." Hope nodded, looking between everyone and landing on me, "Aiden. You were right, Aunty O, she's cute."
The introductions were cut short as we were being told to rush to the stone room. That Echo had a plan for all of this. Little did we know she was plotting mass genocide, and she was close to doing it. Somehow, Raven was the one to get to her and make it all okay again. However, Hope had an inner anger that we all were blind to.
After killing Anders, she sped to the water source and let a single drop fall from the syringe. Diyoza was quick and suddenly everything from that moment on went into slow motion. Diyoza's body, and the rest of the room, began to crystalize. We JUST managed to get Hope out of the room and closed the door as it coated the door as well.
Diyoza was gone.
