So, apparently someone had burned down the smoke house where coincidentally had all of our food inside! Now, we were all getting ready to go out on a hunting mission.
"The guns are for the grounders, NOT the animals. Use the spears and knives to hunt and be back by nightfall! No one stays out after dark." Bellamy ordered.
I hid the smirk on my face as I rummaged through the weapons. I didn't have a buddy, but what could go wrong... right?
"You sure you want to go out?" A voice asked. Clarke.
"No, but I'm tired of being afraid and staying behind. I need to contribute somehow." I sighed, choosing a spear.
"That's sexy." Octavia smiled, giving me a quick kiss.
"Hear that?" I nudged Clarke, "I'm the sexy sister."
Clarke let out a laugh as she rolled her eyes and walked away.
"So, we together?" Octavia asked.
"Gee, ya know, it's about time you finally as--." I stopped when I saw her grabbing a weapon. "Oh, OH! You mean, yeah! Yeah! Sure, why not!" I scoffed, letting the embarrassment consume me.

"Hey, Raven, we need some more ammo before we go out. Do you have any?" I asked, entering her tent.
She handed me maybe 3 bullets without looking, "That's all I have until Jasper gets back."
"Woah, what are you doing?" I said, noticing her packing, "You can't leave."
"How are you gonna tell me what to do? Weren't you locked in a cage."
I clenched my jaw and ignored that jab at my issues, "Raven, we need you down here."
"What's their plan out there? Fight until you run out of bullets?" Raven scoffed.
"Yeah," I shrugged, "Come on, you got down here on a pod that you rebuilt! You made a bomb with a tin can... what else do you have in that brain of yours?"
"Radios... well, walkie talkies! If we can communicate with each other then we might stand a chance when the grounders come."
I threw my hands up in victory, "See... you may be the biggest pain in the ass here, but you're also the smartest. We need you."
I gave her a sly smile and a quick nudge before heading out.

Later in the night, all the hunters had return. All but Clarke and Finn. A part of me wanted to be worried, but the other knew she had to be okay. Somehow, some way she was going to come back and be okay. Just like Finn would.
"Hey, I'm sorry about earlier. The cage comment... I'm sorry." A voice broke my thoughts. Raven.
Before I could reply, Monty came barging out with Octavia with him. "We're going out to find Clarke and Finn, if you're coming lets go."
I nodded and started getting some stuff together but Octavia put her hands over mine to stop me. "What're you doing?"
"I want you to stay here." She said sternly.
"What? No way! Clarke is out there and we need to find her!"
"I'll find her, okay? But if something ever happened to you I couldn't handle it. So, please, stay here for this." she begged.
"Okay..." I sighed, putting my stuff back down, "Just this once."
She let a smile grow onto her face as she wrapped me into a tight hug before leaving the camp with a group.
"I love you too." I whispered.
