I sat secluded in my tent as I changed the bullet wound bandage when I heard someone come in.
"Damn, too bad you can't wear that around everyday!" Octavia teased.
"Shut up," I smiled, pulling my shirt over my head. Well, trying to.
She rose to her feet and helped me pull it over my arm. She returned back to her seat and she had a quiet look on her face so I instantly knew something was wrong.
"Alright, what's going on? Where's your head at?" I asked, kneeling in front of her.
"Well, you got shot." She snapped.
I rolled my eyes and shook my head, "Yeah, I know. But there's something else too."
"I've just been replaying it all in my head." She started, "I saw Clarke before the missile hit, and I KNEW something was wrong. Then, her and Lexa vanish just before it hits and manage to survive it all? It doesn't make sense."
"So, wait, what're you trying to say? You think they knew that the missile was gonna hit?"
Octavia nodded, "Yeah, and I think they left the rest of us to die."

I sat by a fire outside, poking at the embers with a stick. Clarke joined me but I chose to not make eye contact with her.
"How's your arm?" She asked.
"Tell me it isn't true, Clarke." I snapped, "Tell me that you didn't know that the missile was coming."
"Aiden..."
"Octavia was there. So was mom... and all of those people that LIVED in the village. You just let them die!"
"You'll understand eventually, I hope." Clarke pleaded.
"What if I was there, Clarke? Would you have told me?" I snapped, looking her dead in the eyes.
Before she could reply, the horns blew through the air. I looked back at Clarke.
"Guess you lucked out and don't have to answer." I said, walking away from her.
I found Octavia before we had to go our separate ways. She was going straight to Mount Weather and I was going to be meeting Raven at the Dam.
"Try not to be a total bad ass, okay? I like you breathing and would love it if you stayed that way." I smiled, taking her into a hug.
"I'll try my best!" She laughed, placing her hands on my neck and pulling my lips to meet hers.
The kiss was long and passionate, a lot different from the other ones. It wasn't a goodbye, but it was definitely a 'just in case' type of kiss.
"Don't be a bad ass either." She smirked.
"Oh, yeah, I never left the camp and the one time I did I got stabbed. Now, I've been shot! I'm not going to be anyone's hero." I mocked, gesturing to my sling.
"Hey," She said, making me look at her, "You're my hero. You went through the woods to find me when we first landed on the ground. You went through hell to find Clarke. And again, last night, you ran through the woods to find both of us. You're a hero."
I sighed and placed a hand onto her cheek, "I love you, Octavia. Please, be safe."
A large grin grew onto her face and she wrapped me into yet another hug, "I love you too, Aiden."

A/N:
Sorry this one is rather short compared to others, but the next update should be a longer one since I will be ending the season in it.
