I was sitting around camp, alone, waiting for Clarke to return. Lexa has been allowing me to stay with my people until Mount Weather is handled, but we knew afterwards I would have to leave with them. A part of me was okay with it, because my people look at me different now. I didn't blame them. I ended Finn's life, and I could not shake the guilt. No matter how hard I have been trying, I still see him. It was dark now, and the grounders were fighting each other in the rain. That's how they trained.
"Where have you been? We don't see you around much anymore?" A voice teased. Raven.
"I didn't think you of all people would want to see me."
"Well, how about we go inside and get out of this rain. We can talk about it."
"I don't need to talk!" I snapped, rising to my feet. "I need my brain to stop. I need the pain to go away. I need to stop seeing him everywhere I look! I need that sadness in your eyes when you look at me to go away. I want it all to stop!"
"Aiden, listen to me. If you're looking for forgiveness... then you have it, okay? I can give that to you. He was going to SUFFER, from pain and fear. YOU ended it. YOU saved him. How would you react if it was reversed? If he was the one who ended it." Raven pleaded, taking a hold of my hand.
"I just want it to stop." I cried, finally letting the emotions out.
She didn't hesitate and had me wrapped up into a tight hug. We pulled apart and we shared a gaze, but noises broke the moment. The grounders were now in a circle, watching 2 people fight. It was Octavia, and she was the one getting her ass kicked. She kept getting up, asking for more. She showed her strength, but as the fight ended they left her on the ground.
"C'mon, I've got you." I sighed, lifting her up, "What're you trying to prove?"
"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." She mumbled, weak.

I was now patching up Octavia's wounds before they got too dirty and infected. I avoided her gaze, knowing that she was looking at me and trying to lock eyes.
"You're always taking care of people, and saving them." She started, "Just like you did with Finn."
I clenched my jaw and tried to let out a smirk, "Ya know, you said you were gonna be here for me... I didn't know that meant I was going to be patching you up!"
"I got my ass kicked, I know." She rolled her eyes, "You get knocked down then you have to get back up. How do I help you get back up?"
Finally, our eyes met. "I don't know."
****
Clarke and the others had finally returned. We had a prisoner from Mount Weather, along with a grounder who was shot and ended up not making it. Now, Clarke and I sat together.
"So, you and Lexa were the targets?" I asked, over-looking the pictures she gave me.
"I guess so." She shrugged and I nodded. She placed a hand on my arm. "Someone tried to kill me today, it's okay to be upset. I know I'd be livid if someone even looked at you the wrong way!"
"Clarke, I am upset. I just, I can't let it take over anymore... once I feel something it becomes so heightened and strong." I sighed and she squeezed my arm.
"You'll be okay. For now, baby steps!" She smiled, handing me some type of device, "Take that to Raven and see if she can duplicate it."
****
Raven played the most annoying thing I have ever heard in my entire life. It was so high pitched.
"Oh yeah, I can definitely duplicate this." Raven sighed, setting it down onto the ground.
"Well, that's good because Clarke says that with this tune we can control the reapers and use those tunnels."
"Clarke say anything about how we can help you?" Raven stated, looking at me again. "We need you down here, Aiden. I know I do."
I sighed and shook my head as she rose to her feet and embraced me in yet another hug. This hug was longer, and more loving than any of the others she had given me. It had a sense of forgiveness in it.
"Have we heard anything from Bellamy yet?" Octavia shouted, storming into the room.
"Not yet." I sighed. "He will though, he always comes through."
"I hope so... Lincoln hasn't come back yet either." Octavia panicked.
"He'll find his way back! Right, Aiden? He always does." Raven smirked.
I shook my head yet again and left the room.
