It was officially Prom season at McKinley and Clara was excited. She didn't go to her prom last year because she ended up staying home and watching musicals with Zach along with Blaine. This year she was hoping it would be different. She knew Sam wanted to go so it was just a battle of who got the ask first.

Clara had offered to drive Sam to school on Monday which he was grateful for. He usually used his bike but they had to sell it for rent. Clara didn't mind driving him, she considered it a bonding experience. Once they got to school they went to the choir room. Since last week Sam had been happier and Clara was thankful for that. The two played rock paper scissors for a few minutes and whenever Sam won he would kiss her cheek.

"I've been to Ann Taylor Loft, Filene's Basement and, like, six Forever 21s, and I cannot find a dress that fits. I'm gonna be forced to make my own dress for prom." Lauren sighed as she sat down.

"Don't. You'll seem poor."

"You're up for queen. You can't make your own prom dress. Prom is, like, our Oscars. It's seriously, like, the most important night of our lives." Santana said

Clara she understood why everyone loved Prom but didn't understand the pressure. She didn't need some crazy promposal, an insanely expensive dress, or a limo. She just wanted to have fun with someone she loves.

"What about getting married?"

"Oh, you can get married as many times as you want. You only have one shot at your junior prom."

As the conversation continued Sam felt more and more nervous about the situation. He wanted to go to prom but as he heard how it was supposed to be like he realized just little he could give Clara. She deserved to have to Prom of her dreams and he felt like she was just settling for him.

Clara noticed his silence and gave him a kiss on the cheek hoping that would cheer him up.

"You ok?"
