The Man Who Killed Them

Chapter 27

"Bucky. You've been following me around all day. Even to the bathroom." You whine.

"Not gonna stop either." Bucky says.

He stops you before you go into your room. He peeks in to make sure no one is there. He checks the closet and under your bed.

"Okay. All clear." Bucky says. You walk in and plop down on your bed. Bucky lays next to you. You lay your head on his chest and he starts playing with your hair.

Your door opens and Bucky holds you tighter. Bruce walks in. Bucky relaxes a little.

Bruce walks over to you. "I need a blood sample again y/n." He says. He eyes you and Bucky suspiciously. Then it hits you.

Fuck. Bruce doesn't know.

You hold your arm out and Bruce takes a needle out. You whimper and turn your head into Bucky's chest. Bucky kisses the top of your head.

Right now I don't give a shit if Bruce knows or not. I fucking hate getting my blood drawn.

After Bruce gets his sample, he packs up and starts to walk out. He stops before he reaches the door.

"Does Sam know?" He asks.

"Yea he knows. So does Tony and Steve." You say. Bruce nods and walks away.

You sigh and turn your head back into Bucky's chest. Bucky rubs your back softly.

"I'm sorry." He says.

"For what?" You ask.

"I'm sorry I didn't protect you. I'm so sorry." He says.

Your heart breaks. "It wasn't your fault." You say.

"Yes it was. If I didn't go with Tony to find that disgusting man and I just stayed with you, maybe they wouldn't have gotten you." Bucky says.

"They probably would've baby. It's not your fault. You didn't do anything wrong." You say. You look up at Bucky and see his eyes filled with tears.

"It's just that, I can't live without you păpuşă. If something like that happens to you again, or if you disappeared and we couldn't get you back, I don't know what I'd do." Bucky confesses.

"You'd move on. Like anyone else would." You say.

"No I wouldn't. I can't move on. You're the only one for me. If you find someone else, then I'll just keep crawling back. Eventually, you'll realize that I'm the only one for you. Cause I'm not finding anyone else." Bucky says.

You smile and kiss him. "I'm breaking up with Sam." You say.

Bucky smiles and kisses you. "You are?" He asks.

"Yea. I've been thinking about breaking up with him since you guys rescued me." You say.

Bucky shifts your around so he's spooning you. His arms snake around your body. He places kisses on your shoulder and neck.

"I love you so much păpuşă." Bucky says.

"I love you too baby." You say.

Bucky continues to kiss your neck.

"Are you giving me a hickey?" You ask.

"Yes. I'm giving you a lot of hickeys." Bucky says.

"Why?" You ask.

"Because you taste really good." Bucky says. You giggle as he starts to suck and bite on your neck.

After he's done giving you a bunch of hickeys, he softly kisses your jaw line and falls asleep.

You hear that he's asleep and close your eyes. His warm breath on your neck and you fall asleep.
