Samantha's Pov.

There Rick went off again, leaving us speechless. I understood where he came from, not wanting to treat us like we were his people, like he owned us. Yes, he may be the leader, but sure as hell isnt our "governor".

Everybody kinda just stood at our spots for a while in awe. I glanced over at Carl, our eyes meeting when he drops his glare to the floor.

I sighed loudly. This silence was killing me of awkwardness.

"Come on guys. Im pretty sure we have things to take care of." I stated breaking the silence.

They nodded and finally moved from their positions. Carl grabbed my hand and led me away from everyone. We were walking towards the fields of grass and he plopped himself down. I joined him, laying on my back and staring at the cloudless, light blue sky that was slowly fading into a dark blue and orange.

I sighed once more and I felt eyes looking at me. It was of course Carl, who was grinning softly.

"What?" I asked quietly, adding a giggle.

"The sky looks beautiful. " he said looking back at the sky.

I nodded my head and saw from the corner of my eye a smirk growing on his face.

"-but its not as beautiful as you are. "

I immediately started to blush, and pushed him playfully.

"You're so cheesy." I said grinning. I suddenly planted my lips on his and kissed him. I can't explain how happy I am to always be with him. Believe it or not, he saved me. This group saved me. They're my family now, and I can't decribe how much they mean to me. I mean, I was ready to end my life before I met them. I felt so lonely in this world even with my brother. My parents gone, everyone I once knew- was gone. I didnt know how to handle it and thankfully we found them. And I found someone I really care about and... love.

Carls lips attached to mine one last time before placing a last kiss on my nose.

I looked at him, taking in all his features that make him perfect. His stunning bright blue eyes, his brown and long shaggy hair, his almost clear face.

But my eyes caught something, - someone behind him on the other side of the fence.

I slowly sat up and saw it was Michonne.

I squinted my eyes in confusion.

"Whats she doing out there?" I said to Carl who looked at my fingers direction.

He shrugged while we both ran to open to open the gates for her.

"What where you doing out there? When did you even get out there? W-why where you out there?" I exploded her with many questions that I knew she could barley make out any thing I was saying. "I- I thought you were inside?"

Her face was emotionless, yet showed fear and anger.

"Wheres Rick? I need to talk to him." She asked.

"My dad's inside... what happened?" Carl answered.

"Come inside with me. We all need to talk. Now." She gave us looks and didnt even need to speak to us twice to get us to follow her.

I squeezed Carl's hand, and in that moment he knew I didn't feel good about what was going to go down.

Sorry its kinda short and little bit of Sarl moments ;) but it'll get crazier. Oh my. ;)
