Samantha's Pov.

"Oh shit." There were spoken words from other humans. We all looked at the kitchen from where they came from and, like we knew were four prisoners. I walked over to Carl and grabbed his arms.
Rick pulled out his gun and pointed it at them and they put their hands up. Maggie and Glenn were rolling over a metal table to put Hershel on, who was still bleeding out.
"We don't want any harm." one of them said. "Can you please just help us."
Hershel was put on the table and they started strolling out.
Rick unlocked their door and they followed us down the basement to the cell block we took. I ran with Carl still next to me.
"It's okay Sam." He told me and I nodded.
We finally opened the gate to the cell block we took.
"Well, this is it." Rick said as we all entered in.
As soon as we entered We opened a cell and placed Hershel on the bed. Maggie and Beth were crying hysterically and I went in to help also.
"Carl, go get the towels, I saw them in the corner from here." Lori said and he nodded and went out to get them. In a matter of seconds he came back and we grabbed towels and wrapped it around his leg. He was unconscious and losing too much blood.
"Carl and Samantha! I need you for a sec." Rick called for us. I stood up and went out. Carl followed.
"Yea, what's up?" I asked fixing my hair back into a bun.
"I need you two to clear out these cells for me. Daryl and I will pick up the bodies later." We nodded and took out our knifes. We went up the stairs in silence when he started conversation.
"Well, this is fun." he said sarcastically. I giggled and nodded.
"This sorta became normal to me. crazy to think that." I told him stabbing a dead cell walker and it collapsed on the floor.
"Yeah..." he said and we stabbed at least 10 when we finished and went down stairs to the last of the cells and got them all.
I had blood all over my hands and some on my face, not that It disturbed me. I looked over at Carl who smiled at me. He had blood everywhere and to be honest, damn did he look hot like that. I Bit my lip and we went to where everyone was.
"We finished. You guys can go get them now." Carl said to his father and Daryl and him Nodded. They left our site and it was just me and Carl while everyone else was with Hershel, even my brother Justin. He was probably there for Beth.
I found a metal seat and a round table and took a seat. I was taking in all just happen. There were the weeps of Maggie and Beth and There was also the sound of dragging bodies. Im just glad we have a place safe enough for us.
All of the sudden Carl broke me out of my thoughts.
"Pst! Sammi come here!" he whispered loud enough for me to hear. I turned around and he was smiling standing next to the door way. I smirked and stood up.
"What's up? And Sammi? Thats cute." I said playfully. He giggled and looked on the ground.
I glared at him waiting to tell me why he called me up.
"Oh yeah." he giggled. "come with me to the basement. I saw another door and it could lead to something important!" he said and my eyes grew. I nodded my head.
"Nuh-uh I ain't gonna get in trouble!" I said but he grabbed my hand.
I blushed And he let go.
"Please, it's important. Please..." he pleaded and I couldn't say no. He was too cute.
"Fine. But if anything happens. " I sighed and he smirked knowing he won.
"I won't let anything happen to you." he told me and we entered the door.
We closed the door shut but quietly so the others didnt know we left. My mind was thinking about why if we get caught. They might thinks its my fault we left and kick me and my brother out. Yeah, I know I have other things more important to think about like walkers down here, but I don't know. Carl walked in front of me with his gun pointed in front and ready to shoot anything in our way. I admired how he was protectant of me. Suddenly a walker turned to our corner and before he shot, I grabbed my knife and stabbed it. He looked at me and I smirked.
"It's only one. don't need to shoot." I winked at him and he gave a corner smile an nodded.
"Which way was the door you saw?" I asked conjoined hip on hip with him... for safety.
He pointed to the right and we walked up just a bit more, and just as he said was a door shut.
"Ready?" he asked, his hands on the handle.
"Yeah." I replied and my gun in my hand.
He opened the door and surprisingly, no walkers came out. We walked in and When we took a glance where we were, our eyes lit up with hope.
"Its an infirmary!" he said joyfully and I smiled. This is amazing. We found some gauze and bandaids and anything else that was left on the shelves.
I turned around to grab some blankets to stuff in my bag when Carl was holding a baby's blanket.
I placed my hand on his shoulder and he looked at me.
"I think my little brother or sister might need this when they're born... you know?" he said and I nodded my head.
"Lets go. they'll be proud that we found this stuff." He said and I nodded. I hope so too.
