Samantha's Pov.

We were all amazed at Hershel. He acted as if nothing happened, like he wasn't missing a leg, like a walker never bit him. I smiled at his bravery.

"You're a tough sumbitch, you know that?" Daryl said to him patting his shoulder. We all laughed at that.

"I am." he answered back.

Finally he finished eating and Rick had told us to help him walk a bit.

Beth and Carl was on each of his side and I was In the front of him opening the doors , or clearing the path so he wouldn't trip.

I opened the last door which led us outside. Hershel smiled as we were walking down the steps and Beth was too.

We found a bleacher and Hershel say down on it resting up.

"You did a good Job." I told him and her grinned. He nodded his head and thanked me.

I turned behind me to find Carl with a basketball in his hands.

"There's a hoop over here. Wanna play?" he asked dribbling the ball, grinning.

I smiled at him and nodded.

We started playing and I ran over to him and blocked him from making a shot. The ball bounced to me and I had a hold of it now. I bounced it to my hoop and I was laughing, teasing carl that I had the ball now. I was about to shoot when Carl grabbed my waist and I fell down, him hovering over me. The ball was now rolling off, and I was left staring int his beautiful blue eyes I instantly fell in love with. He bit his lip and looked away.

"Ohhhhhh." I heard from a distance which was Hershel and Carl embarrassedly got up and helped me up. I looked over at him and Beth smiling at us and chuckling.

"Why don't you two just admit it! You guys like each other." Beth said with excitement in her voice. Carl and I exchanged looks and Instantly started blushing. I was about to say something, when two gunshots were being fired, with a loud bell buzzing throughout the whole prison.

Our eyes grew with worry and Hershel stood up.

I walked over to Carl and stood close to him.

"Who did that? And what's that noise?" I asked loudly covering my ears.

" I don't know.." he said and Rick came outside and motioned for us to go Inside.

Hershel and Beth went back to the cells and Carl and I went with Rick. In the basement halls were Lori, T-Dog, Rick, Glenn and Maggie. My brother was in the cells with Beth. At least I hope...

Me and Carl were stuck together and Rick went off to find where the noise was coming from.

"Hey, don't worry!" he shouted to me. I nodded my head and we walked down the halls with our guns cocked in front of us, waiting for walkers. We turned down a hall and we found Lori, T-Dog and Maggie together.

Carl ran to Lori and I slightly grinned. He hugged her but she didn't look to good.

"Are you okay?" I asked worriedly.

She just looked at me and bent over slightly gasping.

Our eyes widen in fear.

"We need to get you to my father!" Maggie said and we as fast as we could walked to go to the cells.

We were so close, but a herd of walkers came towards us. I noticed T-Dog was scratched, but I didn't want to believe it. We all ran ahead, but T-Dog stayed behind.
