Chapter 10 - use your imagination

Rose's pov

Holly crap! slenderman wanted me to be a proxy!? That's so...i don't know...cool? I don't even know what to say.

"You need to explain! right. now." I yelled at slenderman. he shifted slightly to face me.

"I'm sorry for not telling you straight away, I just needed to..." he started.

"Test me?" I asked, kind of knowing that was coming.

"Yes, precisely." I sighed.

"Alright fine, what would you have me do?" I said wiping the hair out of my eyes. looking back at them I noticed that they sat there in shock. "what? why are you all looking at me like that?"

"You are an amazing girl, rose." masky said shaking his head. I felt the blood rush to my cheeks and I turn to look in the other direction. I heard a snicker and turned to see Jeff laughing. I got enraged and punched him in the gut, he kneeled over and gasped for breath. I was about to say something when everything went black.

I woke up in a forest, which I had no clue where it was. I stood up and looked around more closely. I checked the trees, they looked familiar. I wandered around, going only one way, till I reached what looked like a trail. following it I found my way to a huge mansion. I sighed, now knowing exactly where I was now. I walked around the house, looking for another way in, other than the front door. I saw a lot of closed windows and one open one, I was very high up. I notices the drain pipe leading up to the roof and climbed it. tip toeing on the roof I came to the open windows section and lowered myself down to the window sill. I hopped through to see a green walled room with wooden floors and a plain bed. looking around the room I noticed the gaming console and shelf filled with tons of different games. I dismissed it and when to the hallway. After sneaking around the house a little bit, I decided that it was empty. I kept a count on the bedrooms in the mansion, there were at least 12 rooms.

- a little while later-

I was playing Zelda in what seemed to be bens room, when I heard a click at the main door downstairs. I would have shut down the game, but I was doing really well and I didn't want to stop. so when Ben and Jeff entered the room they just saw me sitting there, playing a video game, minding my own business.

Ben pov

I walked into the slenderman mansion ,after our midnight killing spree, pretty exited. slender said we might have a surprise waiting for us at home and that we had to find it. I loved games. so when I went into my room to change and go hunting for the present, I didn't expect to find a female to be playing MY games in MY room.

"Rose!? what the hell are you doing in ben's room?!" yelled Jeff angrily. I looked at him confused.

"Jeff, you know her?" I asked.

"Oh....Uh ya. she's..." he trailed off.

"The new recruit!" piped up a happy voice from across the room.

"What!?" both me and Jeff exclaimed in shock. she sighed, like she knew she would have to explain.

"Jeff, you were there when slendy said he wanted me to be his new proxy, remember?"she said with scorn.

"Oh I forgot about that, you don't really interest me I guess." He countered just as snarky.

"Whatever" she said as she exited the game, saved and shut off the tv. she got up and faced us properly. "hi, as you already know, I'm rose. nice to finally meet you." she said to me, ignoring Jeff completely. He stormed off down the hall mumbling curses and what not.

"Um, ya hey, so what are you doing in my room?" I asked her, looking her up and down. she didn't really look like a killer, I mean she was kind of beautiful. Long chestnut hair, nice green eyes and slightly tan skin.

"You have the only gaming console in this joint." she shrugged and walked out. I followed her to the lobby, where everyone (or almost everyone) was assembled.

"Ah, rose, so you did get in my mansion" slenderman said with approval. "everyone, this is rose."
