Another Wolflet anniversary chapter

Wolf POV

There is nothing in the world that is more rewarding than Scarlet, making Scarlet happy makes me happy.

"Hey Scarlet, you wanna go watch the sunset?"

Scarlet giggles, "Sure?"

"That, my dear wife, sounds like more of a question than an answer."

Scarlet pokes my chest. "Yes, I would like to watch the sunset with you, Wolf."

"Okay," I grin, starting in the direction of the farm house door, "If sunset is what you want it is sunset you shall have."

Scarlet smacks her hand to her face.

"Race you there?"

She glares at me, "That's not fair."

"Only if you don't believe you can beat me."

She shakes her head, "Why can't we just take a nice romantic walk?"

"I guess we could do that, too."

"Come on," Scarlet grabs my hand speeding up my journey to the door.

. . . .

"Wolf when did you have time to buy hammock?"

"Wolf when did you have time to buy hammock?"

I chuckle walking past her, "Buy? I made it a few days ago."

"You made this?" Scarlet says in awe.

I grin proudly even though Scarlet, standing behind me, and can't see my face. "Yep, do you like it?"

"If I don't fall out of it." Scarlet murmurs under her breath.

She walks over to the hammock and presses done on it, it creeks a little bit, swings back and forth but stays posted up between the two trees. "Well, it seems sturdy enough.....how do I get up?"

"I can-"

Scarlet puts her knee down on the edge and just as she is about to bring he other leg up onto hammock the cloth swings up and she falls on the ground with a yelp.

I run over to her, "Are you okay?" I bend down, offering her my hand.

She takes my hand pulling herself up into a sitting position. "Well that was embrassing." She looks up at me.

"I'm sorry."

She chuckles looking back up at the hammock, "Why are you sorry?"

"I made it, and then you fell."

"Wolf, I'm fine, it's not your fault."

I shake my head still disappointed with myself, "Are you sure?"

She nods.

I scoop her up into my arms and place her down in the middle of the hammock.

She crosses her arms over her chest, "I wanted to try again."

"And I wanted for you not to fall again."

"Well I could have gotten on without falling."

"You also could have fallen and I don't want to take that chance," I brush some leaves of off the hammock, "Because I love you."

She frowns at me as I crawl on the hammock, "I love you too but, this is not fair."

"Scarlet, the hammock is not going anywhere." I lay down next to her. "Wait, Scarlet, there's stuff in your hair."

She sits up and looks back at me questioningly, "What?"

"There's stuff in your hair." I mutter a I picking it out.

"Is there really that much stuff in my hair?" Scarlet says after a while.

"Yes," I throw it over the hammock. "Okay, I think that's most of it."

Scarlet rests her head on my chest, sighing after a few second"Well, this is nice."

"The sunset? The Hammock? The silence? Me?" I chuckle on the last one, it sounds like something Thorne would say.

"Everything," Scarlet snuggles into me even more.

I turn my body completely toward her, "Today was fun."

Scarlet giggles, "It sure was."

There is a long pause of silence.

"I love you, Scarlet."

"Mm, me too. I love," Scarlet yawns. "You, Wolf."

"Are you falling asleep, Scar?"

"Maybe."
