Sorry I haven't updated I got way to caught up in writing the Epilogues.

"Cinder," Kai jogs over to me, "I have been looking everywhere for you."

I frown at Kai, this dress is making me extremely insecure, "I was hiding from you." The way  it hugs every curve on my body, even the not-so-pleasant ones.

Kai wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me in for a kiss, "Why were you hiding from me?"

I shake my head, "I don't  know."

"Yes, you do." Kai presses a kiss to my forehead.

I pull away from him to get a better look at his outfit, he looks absolutely gorgeous, and I look like me. "You look very handsome." I whisper.

He chuckles pulling me back to him, "And you look stunning as usual."

I snort.

"What?" Kai murmers.

I pull away from him and frown, why does he have to look so good? "Do you think I look fat in this dress?"

Kai shakes his head smiling like I just asked him an obvious question that I too should know the answer to. "No, I don't think you look fat. Why would I think you look fat?"

I rest my hands on my stomach and drumb my fingers, "I don't know you tell me."

Kai rolls his eyes, "Eight and a half months pregnant does not equal fat, come Cinder, we're going to be late."

. . . . . .

"Kai, how much dancing am I oblegated to do."

"You're not obligated to anything."

"Really? I can go back, I can skip the whole thing?"

Kai makes a pleading face at me, "Yes, but at least one dance with me please?"

I roll my eyes playfully "Fine."

. . . . . .

"I would like to welcome you all to the Anunual Peace Ball, a dance held every year by the Eastern Commonwealth to commerate peace. I would like you all to enjoy yourselfs, refreshments are in the next room, dance and music are in here." Kai bows to the crowd and everyone claps for about two second, than nobody is paying us any attention even though we are still on the stage.

"You think you have a dance in you?" Kai asks with a glimer in his eye that I just can't find it in my heart to say no to.

I nod smiling.

He presses a soft kiss to my lips and giddily, leads me off the stage and down to the main dance floor. It's nothing more than a swirl of dresses. People are spinning and dropping and catching, not us.

Me and Kai stand swaying back and forth on the dance floor, Kai's hands resting on my hips and my hands resting on his shoulders. Our forhead are pressed together and we are both looking down.

I feel like we have created our own room, like none of the thousands of other people in the room can see us.

Kai's hands slide forward to hold my stomach, he chuckles softly, "I love you Cinder."

Warm liquid and then, seering pain.

"I-I." I groan collapsing in Kai's arms.

"Cinder," Kai says in alarm, holding my entire body weight in his arms. "Contraction?"

All I can do is nod.

Kai curses and I almost smile, I have never heard Kai curse before.

"We gotta get you out of here," He picks me up wrapping my legs around is waste.

The music and noice of a thousand people fade into dead silence.

Kai starts speed walking towards the grand doors that lead out of the ball room.

"I'm sorry."  I manage to say through my pain.

"What are you sorry for?" Kai grunts readjusting my body on his hip.

"I ruined your night." I rest my chin down on his shoulder as my contraction starts to fade.

Kai presses a quick kiss to my cheek, shaking his head, "Nothing better could have possibly happened, we're about to meet our little baby."
