THE NEXT DAY
The next day rolled around the corner very quickly. It wasn't a particularly nice day, either. M/C awoke to the sound of heavy rain smacking against the roof and windows of the small apartment they lived in.
With a roll of their eyes, M/C hopped out of bed and checked the time. Their eyes widened.
Oh, god. If I stay in bed any longer, I'm going to be late! Solomon will be here to pick me up soon and -
M/C shook their head to stop their overflowing thoughts. They immediately begun rushing around to get ready for work.
"Can't you be a bit more quiet...? I'm here trying to sleep." Yui groaned and pulled the covers over her head. That was another disadvantage of sharing the same room as someone.
"Well, I'm sorry that I've got to go to work. What have you got to do today, huh? You've got all day to yourself."
"Thats right," Smirked Yui, "And I'm going to spend it all playing that game you told me about."
M/C stopped for a second. They turned around silently. "Obey me?"
"Yeah, that's the one."
M/C could only chuckle as they pulled their shoes onto their feet. "So you did download it, huh?"
"I did," Yui mumbled, "You tempted me."
"It's so fun, isn't it?" M/C sighed dreamily as they thought about all of the demons on the game. They'd have to play it when they get home from work today.
"Yeah, it is. Feels so real."
"Can you imagine if it was?" Laughed M/C. Then there was a swift knock at the door.
Not wanting Solomon to wait any longer, M/C stood up and turned towards Yui.
"Bye, Yui. I'll see you when I return home!"
"Yeah, bye. Have a nice day."
"Do you want me to tell Solomon you said hello - "
"No."
Laughing softly, M/C waved at their friend one last time before stepping into the hallway. They quickly grabbed an umbrella before opening the door and stepping outside.
In front of them, they saw Solomon in nothing but his work uniform. M/C gasped but soon rose a brow as they noticed that he was... Bone dry?
"Did you get a lift to my house, or...? Is that how you were so quick?" M/C put the umbrella over both of their heads as they begun to walk. The harsh wind stuck to their bodies and rain smacked against the helpless umbrella.
Solomon widened his eyes. All he mumbled was, "Um... No."
The other wanted to question the white haired male. However, they didn't have the energy to. They didn't get much sleep last night due to the fact that they had been shamelessly playing obey me until the early hours of the morning.
"Look. We're almost at the library now." Solomon muttered softly to his friend.
M/C nodded.
