"Y-You're what..." Mammon muttered quietly, his pupils dilated.

Lucifer, with the help of Barbatos, had just broke the news of his banishment to his brothers. Silence flodded the room. Shocked was an understatement.

"I'm banished, Mammon." Lucifer repeated. The sadness in his voice was unmistakable.

"H-How? Why? T-This can't be..." Beelzebub was on the verge of tears. Belphie stood beside him, trying to make sense of the situation.

"I'm so sorry, all of you..." Barbatos sounded guilty as he bowed. "However these are the Young Lord's rules and they need to be respected."

"Don't you think this is too harsh, though?" Asmodeus shook his head, "Banishing Lucifer?"

Barbatos looked down. He sighed. "If it's what the Young Lord says, then... I believe it's necessary."

"Don't worry about me... I'll be fine. I committed a crime that should have never happened. This was all my doing, so I do not wish for any of you to get involved - "

Mammon was quick to interrupt Lucifer. He sounded enraged.

"No! This was all of our doing. If anything, we should all be getting banished together! How comes it's just you, huh!?"

Lucifer glanced down at his feet. A sad smile tugged at his lips as he did so. "Believe me, Mammon... I deserve this punishment, not you guys."

Barbatos looked at Lucifer. "Come now, Lucifer. I will help you pack some things..."

Lucifer and Barbatos walked off, leaving the rest of the brothers in the room. The silence was deafening.

"I can't believe this..." Was all Mammon muttered.

"Solomon...?" Luke wandered into the kitchen where he saw Solomon sat down on the island table. He had a huge book spread out in front of him and seemed to be in deep concentration.

The sorcerer glanced up as soon as he heard Luke's timid voice. He smiled warmly. "Hello, Luke. What is it?"

The boy cambered onto a chair opposite Solomon. Luke sighed. "When do you think we're going to get M/C back?"

Solomon shook his head. He understood that Luke missed
M/C with all of his being. The human had met Luke and Simeon a few years ago, obviously not knowing they were angels, and ever since then, Luke has looked up to them like a big sibling. To have them taken away from him broke his heart.

"I don't know, Luke," The sorcerer muttered, "I'm so sorry. I know you miss them. I miss them too. But I'm trying."

The angel sulked. "Why did you have to bring them down to the devildom anyway...?"

"Because I made a contract with Lucifer, remember? But now that it's broken, I'm going to get them back - "

"Look how that turned out." Another voice chuckled in sarcasm. Simeon had made his way into the kitchen at some point and was now sat beside Solomon.
