It's always the important ones that are hard to write.

"Today's the big day" I say as a lay on my bed. "Momo and the rest of the class will be taking that licensing exam today." I'm completely home alone. Annette took my personalities with her; she said she would be gone for a while, but it's already been an hour. I can't help but feel a strange feeling for forgetfulness. I quickly stand up from my bed and stretch my body from laying there for so long. Trying to pass time, I begin cleaning under my bed.

I pull out boxes of things I've kept over the years. old clothes, toys, and random things I've found. As I pull out each box, I'm reminded of memories form that time. I used to love wearing some of these clothes, until I grew out of it. Unfortunately, some of the clothing have blood stains. Most of Delaney's killings were away from people. The law can only conform six of them. The rest have no evidence of me being there, but that didn't stop people from creating rumors about me.

My cleaning consists of looking through the contents of a box and putting it back. No real cleaning. I slide a box full of paperwork from junior high and reach for the box labeled "3-E." Just as is start pulling it out, my phone rings. I turn my attention away from the box and grab my phone. Momo is calling me.

It's strange for her to call this early in the morning, but I answer it anyway. "Hello?"

"Ready everyone? 1... 2... 3!" Iida's voice surprises me. I'm surprised again when the whole class begins to Happy Birthday to me. I pull the phone away from my ear to check the date, it's September 1st, my birthday.

Once they finished, they all clapped their hands. "How old are you!?" Hagakure asks.

"S-Sixteen." I say, overjoyed that they all called me.

"What are you gonna do to celebrate!?" Uraraka jumps in. "Play games? Eat cake!?"

"I don't know. I'm home alone right now so it'll be a surprise."

"That explains why they left." I connect the dots.

"What're you doing right now then?" Sero questions.

I glance over at the boxes under my bed. "I'm... training. I may not be training to be a hero right now, but that doesn't mean I can just forget about all my skills."

"Oh, does that mean you're not in school?" Midoriya questions? "There are plenty of other hero courses. Like the ones at Shiketsu or Ketsubutsu."

"I haven't thought about it all that much. Right now, I'm homeschooled. I'm getting education help from a friend of mine."

"You must be referring to Nagisa! He was super helpful!" Kaminari speaks, remembering when he was tutored by Nagisa.

"It's good to hear you are keeping up with your studies, even while not attending school." Iida adds.

"Yep. Hasn't been the easiest though. And I'm getting help from a different friend." Before they can ask me anything else, I try changing the subject. "You guys are taking the licensing exam today, right?"

"That's correct." Mr. Aizawa's voice surprises everyone. "Getting these licenses means they'll be treated as heroes and will be responsible for human lives. They better not take this lightly." Even from the other side of the phone, I can feel his demanding stare. "Everyone in your seats, homeroom has started." The students say goodbye and quickly hang up the phone.

The smile I have falls slightly. "They sound like they're having fun." I look back at my phone to see messages from my classmates last year. Maehara, Okuda, and Akari also known as Kayano, have left birthday messages.
