"When coach said, 'Come in early today', I thought we'd be doing laps or something, not being tied up with a fucking rope." I said as we all struggled to move. Coach tied us up in order for everyone to 'Bond'.

I'm standing in front of Luis, on the right of Adam, and on the left of Aspen. "Somebody needs to keep their hands to themselves." Julie said. "Tell me about it." I scoffed  looking back at the boy behind me. He quickly held his hands up from out of the rope and smiled innocently, "Oops." He shrugged. "Yeah, oops." I rolled my eyes while turning back around. "Ew." Adam mumbled turning away from Luis.

"Goldberg!" We all yelled as a smell filled the room. "It wasn't me!" He defend himself. "No, it was me!" Dean lifted up his arms making us all groan in disgust.

"Everyone goes their own way, everyone falls down." Bombay said as we all skated in different directions causing us to all end up on the floor.

"All of you, move to your right." Dean instructed the group. "Who made you boss? Everyone to the left." Fulton protested moving the opposite direction. The new kids skated to the right, the ducks skated to the left. I didn't move and was the only one left standing.

"If you two don't agree on a god damn direction, I'm gonna do it for you. Now get up! Go. Pick a direction." I huffed while everyone got up.

They shortly after agreed on a direction and we were all skating together.

"You guys are starting to look like hockey players. I'm proud of ya, team. You worked hard today, but hockey should also be fun." Bombay said while we all took a knee in front of him. "Rancher Dwayne?"

"Yes, sir?"

"Round me up some stray cattle there." Bombay smiled handing Dwayne a rope. We all scattered away as Dwayne tried to catch us.

At the end I ended up being last with Luis. "Just me and you, pretty boy." I smirked skating circles around him. "You might not wanna talk to me like that. You're boyfriend over there's gettin' pretty pissed." He laughed nodding over to Adam. "He's not my boyfriend. Just a teammate. Simple as that. Friends on a good day maybe." I shrugged and he nodded. "Good to know."

"Nice talking to ya, pretty boy." I winked and he was so distracted Dwayne came up behind him and roped him. "You're out, speedy." I raised my eyebrows with a smile. "I let you win." He lied crossing his arms. "Mhm."

*Back on the bench, Adams POV*

Scarlett and Luis are the last people left. I was one of the first people to get out, then Emily, and then Aspen. Which isn't good because they got into a fight and coach had to physically separate them. Scarlett was skating around Luis, they were flirting with each other or something.

I know I broke up with Scarlett and all, but I miss her. I was just worried something would happen to us in the month that she was gone. I didn't wanna loose her. It sounds stupid but I wasn't thinking straight.

"Looks like your girlfriend isn't so loyal." Emily nodded to Scarlett who was winking at Luis. I glared at the two, "She's not my girlfriend." I sighed. "Hm. Good to know." She smirked walking away. "Weirdo." I mumbled looking back onto the ice.

Luis was roped up and Scarlett was laughing at him while spinning around the boy. "I don't think I've seen you this jealous with your other girlfriends." Charlie said from next to me. "What?"

"You only ever truly cared about Scarlett. All those other girls were to try and fix the fact that you made the worst decision in your life when you broke up with her. Go fix it. She still likes you too." Connie piped into the conversation.

"Or don't. Please don't. Don't take that the wrong way. If you do that I'll lose a bet." Aspen laughed nervously rubbing the back of her neck. "Wh- a bet?"

"Just give me the money now. Accept the fact that they're soulmates." Connie held out her hand as a sign for Aspen to give her money. "Oh, fine. I have some for you." Aspen sighed reaching in her bag. "Found it." She acted like she was pulling something out but it was her middle finger. "Whatever."

"I'm not losing the bet."

"You guys still have the bet?" Guy asked shocked. "Duh. And I'm not losing. Because Adam and Scarlett are soulmates." Connie insisted. "What? What even is this bet?" I stood there confused. "Oh god, you're still talking about this bet." Scarlett groaned walking up to us as we walked to the locker rooms.

"Yes. Team Sadam." Connie smiled looking at me. "What is a Sadam?" I mumbled to Scarlett. "Don't even ask." She sighed shaking her head. "No. Team Scamlett." Aspen yelled at Connie. "Wait- Scamlett?" Scarlett looked confused.

"Cameron and Scarlett. Scamlett sounds so stupid." Connie said opening the door to the locker room for us. "Does not!" Aspen whined. "Does too!"

"Who's Cameron?" I questioned walking over to my locker next to Aspen's. Everyone went silent and looked at me weird. "This is my cue to walk away." Scarlett laughed nervously grabbing her bags and speed walking out of the locker room. "Yeah us too." Connie and Aspen said running after her.

"I gotta go uh, talk to Connie, yeah, so...yeah." Guy ran out after them. "I gotta go uhh...milk my pig, sorry buddy." Averman left leaving me and Charlie. "Who the hell is Cameron?" I asked him.

"Why me? Why did they do this to me?" He sighed sitting down. "Y'know what I'm getting it over with. Scarletts ex boyfriend. Okay. Bye." He ran out of the room. "What the fuck." I looked around the empty locker room confused.
