I walked into the dorm and Alex was sitting on the bed turned towards the wall. He was completely silent, which was odd because he was always talking about Adam and how much he hated him. "Dude, your acting like possessed right now." I laughed trying to get a good look at his face.
He turned around and I let out a small gasp. His lip was all bloody and so was above his eyebrow.
"What the hell happened?" I asked looking at his face. "I think you're boyfriend's had enough of our fake dating act." He chuckled licking the blood of his bottom lip. "Holy hell."
"Come here." I waved him over to the bathroom and he followed behind me.
"Sit." I nodded to the counter while grabbing a cloth and soaking it. "You should see him, I was fucking awesome. Swinging left, right." He punched the air while yelling 'pow' and 'bam'. "Isn't that wonderful." I shook my head sarcastically before walking over to the counter where he sat.
"Y'know, you look pretty hot." I looked up at him. "Yeah?" He questioned all cocky. "If you act all cocky like that, then no." I laughed and he rolled his eyes.
"I wasn't hot before?" He raised his eyebrows looking down at me. "I never said that." My laugh died down while he looked from my eyes to my lips. The last thing I remember was him leaving in before I felt his lips on mine.
I was so shocked I just stood there for a second. I kissed him back, I actually kissed him back. And it didn't feel wrong either, it almost felt...perfect.
But it wasn't perfect. It wasn't as perfect as when I kissed Adam, and it definitely doesn't feel the same. It was different, a good different. And maybe that's what I needed, something different.
"Ew, now I taste blood." I wiped my lips after we broke apart. "We basically just made out and that's all you have to say?" Alex laughed hopping off the counter. "Yes. It is. And if you have a problem with it, I will not hesitate to take my kiss back." I huffed jumping onto my bed.
"You can take a kiss back?" He questioned getting into the bed across from mine. "Yes. And if you don't shut up I will." I turned the lights off while he let out a laugh.
I kept replaying the moment over and over again. Did that really just happen? It seems like only yesterday we hated each other. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about it. Then again I'm not exactly sure how I feel about a lot of things right now.

"No way!"
"You're shitting me!"
"You're lying!"
Aspen, Connie, and Julie all responded to what happened last night while we skated out into the ice. Coach told us to meet him here in our normal clothes.
Everything between Alex and I isn't as awkward as I thought it would be. It's actually quite normal.
"This is our last team practice, which means-" Coach got cut off my Averman, "The return of captain blood." He joked from his spot next to me while we all let out laughs. "It means...let's have some fun!" He grinned throwing a beach ball out onto the ice while we all ran after it.
Our fun was cut short when the ball rolled over to the other side of the ice and bumped into someone. "Man, we can't have any fun with out them ruining it." I sighed while we all gathered around together. "They look like a cult, just standing there like that." Aspen mumbled to me while I tried to hold in my laugh.
"What type of cult do you think they'd be? The one that like dances around and shit or-" My whispering got cut off by the sound of the beach ball deflating. "Well that just killed the vibe completely." Julie said disappointedly Averman nodded from next to her. "I bet you're all real fun at parties." He joked and Coach turned around to give us all a look to shut up.
They all skated up to us in complete silence. The only noise was they're skates gliding across the ice.
"They're skating in formation." Connie and I looked at each other and had to hide our laughs. "Definitely a cult." Me and Aspen spoke at the same time. "Guys, this is a showdown. Like the ones in all those movies!" Guy piped in excitedly. "Awesome!"
"Not awesome." Connie looked at Averman and Guy like they were crazy. "Kinda awesome." I shrugged and Connie gave the same look to Aspen, Julie, and I.
"Play time is over. We have the ice now." Stansson finally spoke up, "You and your little rink rats must leave."
"That's funny coming from him." Aspen rolled her eyes quietly while Connie shushed her. "The only little thing was your career in the pros." Bombay fired back making the whole team look at each other with shocked grins.
"Come on team. Let's go." We all started to leave before Stansson spoke up again. "Please. Play with me a little before you go. Show me the famous triple deke your daddy taught you. Or was it that old geezer over there?"
Me and Charlie glared at the man who kept spitting out insults. Stansson threw Bombay a stick and he caught it before looking around at us.
I wasn't sure about this whole thing. Of course, I wanted Bombay to kick Stansson's ass, but he got hurt playing not that long ago, and I don't want him to get hurt even more. I remember watching the game when he got hurt on the TV. I had to turn it off immediately, I got sick to my stomach. I had no idea if he was going to be okay, and that worried me. I just don't want it to happen again.
"Hey, it'll be okay." Larson nudged my side and I sent him a small smile. Little did I know Adam Banks was glaring holes into the back of both of our heads. "He's got it, Scar. Don't worry." Aspen slung an arm over my shoulder while I tried to reassure myself. Everyone could probably tell how nervous I was about the whole thing.
Stansson pushed Bombay down and I winced, but I know he can take a hit. Calm down, Scarlett.
One point, Stansson.
One point, Bombay.
We all let out cheers as coach got his second point.
Right as coach was about to get his third point, Stansson slammed his hockey stick onto Bombay's leg, right where he injured it during the big game. We all skated up to him as quickly as we could and I turned to look at the Iceland team.
"Well deserved, if I do say so myself." Gunnar smirked at me. I spun around and tripped him with my hockey stick then punched him square in the face. He wiped the red liquid trickling from his nose while I bent down. "That was well deserved. I mean, if I do say so myself." I copied the smirk he gave me earlier before standing up.
"That was long overdue." Aspen laughed while we did our handshake. "I've been wanting to do that forever." Julie shook her head. "I'm not one for violence, but he definitely deserves that." Connie spoke up looking at the boy who was groaning on the floor.
Emily raced over and crouched beside him. "What the hell?" She exclaimed looking at me. "Is there a problem?" I questioned raising my eyebrows. "No." She huffed walking back to the group. "Last time I checked your little Iceland act was still a secret. Wouldn't wanna expose yourself would we now?" I taunted turning to look at the girl.
"Bombay deserved it. He's a no good, washed up coach. Who doesn't give one shit about his team." She mumbled to me. "Your ass must be jealous of all the shit that comes out of your mouth. You think so?" I muttered back while looking forward. "Screw you." She sneered rolling her eyes. "Your boyfriend already did." I shrugged walking up to coach.
"Is he okay?" I asked Miss. Mackay who looked just as worried as I was. "I'm fine." He groaned looking towards me.
We ended up calling someone from the care center to come and get him so he could get x-rays.
