"What was it you said about not killing anyone?" Kuroo snarled through gritted teeth.
"I owed a favour to a certain snake, don't take this the wrong way." She pulled the knife quickly to the side, but to everyone's surprise, she hadn't slit his throat. "They asked for me to either kill the head of Nekoma or get information on him. Pick your poison, Kitty~"
He was on his knees still, holding his neck where the blade had just been. "What happened for you to be indebted to those snakes?" The rest slowly lowered their firearms seeing that she really didn't want to kill anyone just yet.
"The old mafia I used to work with got raided by police while we were doing a big deal and Nohebi just so happened to be there. They helped me out and now they expect repayment." Her words were laced with venom. "I hate the guys but I'm not one to go back on my word, so just give me something to work with here." She walked back over to the table and sat down again.
"Let's do an exchange, then." Daichi took a seat at the other end. "We'll give you the information you need if you answer some questions."
"On one condition. If I think the questions are too personal I don't have to answer."
He looked to the rest of them who just gave a nod. "Alright, everyone take a seat." Oikawa practically skipped over to sit next to Y/n while Bokuto reluctantly sat on her other side.
"I don't need too much from you, just stuff about who you're doing deals with and some locations." Her eyes met Kuroo's.
"Well, right now I'm doing a deal with a gorgeous assassin that goes by the name of Rabbit."
"Smooth, but I'm not joking around here."
"Fine, fine." Kuroo gave her what she wanted, in minimal detailing of course. As he spoke she wrote down anything of importance, ignoring the sly compliments and remarks towards her.
Once he finished, she closed her small notepad and sighed. "You know, for someone who had a knife to his throat just a few minutes ago, you sure are a flirt."
"I have no idea what you mean, Bunny~"
Oikawa was glaring at him the whole time he spoke, not even bothering to hide that fact that he was. "Y/n-chan~ We can ask our questions now, right?"
She knew he was trying to get a rise out of her. "Don't call me that. Ask away I suppose."
"Then why can't I call you Y/n-chan?"
She saw his pouting face and rolled her eyes, sending him a glare. "Consider yourself lucky that you even know my name and face. Most people that have that much information end up dead in a ditch somewhere."
They went silent.
Bokuto took the silence as an opportunity to ask her something they had all been wondering. "Why'd you kill them? Your note said they planned to kill you first but that doesn't explain why you tortured the boss, or why their bodies were left in such a mess."
She was slightly confused by the end of his statement. "You clearly don't know how I work, Bokuto. When I kill, I make an example. As for the boss, he was a crazy lunatic and he deserved it."
Kuroo laughed. "And you're not? You work as an assassin, you can't be all that sane either."
"Compared to him, I'd say I'm completely sane." She was dead serious. "He sent me on missions all too often, he didn't care who was involved as long as he got his pay. I make sure to keep my morals in check when I take jobs. He didn't."
She abruptly stopped. "Too personal. Next question." No question came as they looked at her. "Don't look at me like that, I don't want your pity points." She hissed.
Daichi took the hint and changed the subject. "You said none of our men were hurt, how did you get in?"
"Like I said before, you guys are way too easy and boring. The men you had guarding the back doors were idiotic at best, one look at me and I had them wrapped around my finger, for fuck's sake."
"What did they look like? I'll have to give them a stern talking to later." His smile gave off a scary aura.
"There were three. Two were quite short, brown hair with blonde streak and orange hair, the other had a buzz cut, if I can remember correctly."
Oikawa tilted his head listening to her. "What about our second hands, they were guarding the halls."
"Sneaking past them was a breeze, I only had to knock one of them out by the door here. He wasn't in pain, calm down." She reassured as she saw Bokuto's eyes widen. "I should be heading out soon, I have a job to finish up." She waved her papers that had the info she gathered earlier.
"Last question." Kuroo spoke out before she could leave. "Wanna go out sometime, Bunny~?" Oikawa gave him an 'I was about to ask that' look.
She laughed and threw a note to the middle of the table. "Do what you will with that. Now, if you'll excuse me boys." Opening the door once again, she exited as quietly as she'd come in.
Daichi took the note before Kuroo and Oikawa could fight over it.
"Hey, what does it say?" They both said at once.
"It's her contact info. Don't get any ideas, we're just doing business with her."
