"Terushima ratted her out. We should've let her kill him when she had the chance, but he's locked away for the time being." Sakusa was now standing off to the side of a room, associates and former rivals standing or sitting alongside him. "The bastard poisoned her so she couldn't fight back."

"Where is she now?" Daichi sat on the opposite wall, listening intently.

There was a pause. "I don't know. He could've taken her anywhere."

"Then we need to track them down. Would Terushima know anything?" As Kuroo also leaned against the wall, he quietly told Kenma to do his magic and give them a location. A few seconds later, he was handed the laptop and scanned over it. "There's nothing...?"

"The L/n's were always good at keeping things hidden. There's a reason they weren't caught sooner." A concerned look washed over Sakusa's face.

Atsumu decided to pipe in, seeing his clearly worried expression. "If we don't know where they went... How long is it gonna take for us to find her?"

   Three weeks.

It had been three weeks since she was taken.

"Are you finally starting to toughen up again? Those fools made you weak, Y/n." The tormenting figure peered over her. She looked up at him, hollowed eyes meeting his own like a mirror. "I have a job for you to do. Will you follow orders this time?"

She said nothing, tilting her head down and finding sudden interest in the concrete beneath her. The man sighed, snapping his fingers. "Surely we don't have to resort back to this again. It's been weeks already, I thought you would've cracked by now. Do we need to increase dosages?" He was given a knife by one of the men behind him, taking it in his hand and bringing it up to her cheek. "I heard that you use this tactic a lot too. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?"

"If you do anything to my face, your missions won't go as planned. That is the main focal point for luring in your targets." Y/n's voice was slurred, yet cold, not giving away any sense of emotion whatsoever.

"She can talk! Finally..." The knife left her skin without a scratch as he theatrically threw his hands up in astonishment, slowly letting them down again with a serious expression. "Can you do this job for me, Y/n?"

"You aren't really giving me a choice. What is it?" He held out an arm, being handed a small folder and throwing it to her. "But these are-"

"I'm well aware that they're the leaders of those lowlifes, Aoba Johsai and Nekoma. They've been causing problems for some of our lesser skilled assassins." Turning to leave the dark room, he glanced back to see her face, just as dull as it had been earlier. "I want them dead. I don't care how you do it or how long it takes, but there will be consequences for refusing or failing to complete the assignment." With a few footsteps, he was gone.

"Oikawa and Kuroo. He doesn't care that they're causing trouble, he just wants to test me..." She stayed, staring at the pictures in the file. "Terushima really spilled his guts."

"Kuroo, the motion sensors were triggered." Kenma entered the room unannounced, interrupting whatever meeting they were having at the moment. "All cameras are down in the halls."

"Do we have eyes on the outside?" The bed head stood up, quickly making his way out and through the hallways to Nekoma's security room. "Lock everything down, no one comes in or out until we find whoever triggered the sensors." With a nod, Kenma typed in a few codes and a buzzing noise sounded.

"Let's sweep the building. Someone needs to watch Terushima, they might be here for him." Oikawa ran past them, followed by Bokuto and Daichi.

"Kenma, stay here and watch the cameras." Kuroo left after them.

"It's just the halls. Isn't that familiar." Sakusa calmly walked away mumbling, leaving a confused Kenma to himself. "That idiot."

The bosses split up, two searching floors for the supposed intruder while the others went to the basement to guard Terushima. Oikawa was one of the two who went off alone, which may have been a mistake on his part. He didn't see anyone in the large space he walked into, but realized that he was definitely not alone when he was grabbed from behind, a hand over his mouth to muffle any attempts to alert the others. Her soft whisper made his body stiffen. "Play dead until Kiyoomi comes in, then lay low for a while. There's nothing harmful in this, so relax." A stabbing pain shot through his neck and he fell to the ground, hearing a metallic click against the floor next to his head.

The figure left without a sound, walking through the shadows of the stairwells and finding herself facing Kuroo head on as she rounded a doorframe. "Why are you here?" There was no answer. The dim light reflected off of something in her hand, drawing his attention to the small needle. She jolted forward, just barely missing his face.

"Y/n. You're sloppier than usual." Another voice called, standing beside where Kuroo was now crouched down. She laughed, running a hand through her hair as a distasteful look flashed on Sakusa's face. "You seem more disheveled as well."

"How long has it been now? Everything's still a little fuzzy... Those things aren't lethal or anything, but they really mess with your head." Her eyes flicked down to her hand. "Stay out of my way, Kiyoomi. The whole system will be down in about five minutes anyway."

"So that's how it is?" She let out a breath, relieved that he understood what she was hinting at.

They were all still, waiting for the other to make the first move. "I'm sorry for this, Kuroo~ I was given the order to kill you and Oikawa. I don't- I can't fail missions." Before either could process anything, she was next to the rooster, needle puncturing his shoulder. "Stay down and don't move. Give me two minutes."

She pulled away, jumping back and running out. "Just trust her, Oikawa is probably already 'dead' too."

"Kenma. Shut down all of the security cameras and delete any footage of the past hour, they're in your system right now." The dyed blonde was startled at first, calming down quickly when he saw who was in the doorway. "And give this to Kiyoomi, I didn't get the chance earlier."
