"You're... you're what?" Nini asked in shock. "I said I'm in love with you. I love everything about you. After my parents divorce, I thought that the idea of love didn't exist and I was just going through the motions. Then you came along. You put a smile on my face everyday, and you're so beautiful, but you don't see it. You're the perfect girl. You're someone who puts a smile on every persons face, someone who's sarcastic but isn't mean. Someone who doesn't let people push her around like a piece of trash. No... you're treasure- you're one in a million." I rambled nervously. "I tried to push away any feelings I thought I had for you because you were with Ej. God, that son of a bitch. I just wanted to punch him repeatedly for not giving you every single thing that you deserved. Because you deserve the world, Nini. And I want nothing more than to be a part of that world." I finished. Nini's mouth was hung open in shock and she was frozen in place.

Dammit.

This is exactly what I didn't want to happen.

"Please say something, Neens. Anything. I don't care if you don't love me back, but please don't leave." I said. Nini just looked at me with her jaw open and tears sliding down her cheeks.

That's never a good sign.

Suddenly, Nini closed her mouth and walked towards me with a straight face. I gulped, not knowing what was gonna happen next. She took a deep breath, looked up at me and said the four words I've been longing to hear.

"I love you too, Ricky." She grabbed me by my shirt and crashed her lips onto mine.

✨The New Nina's POV✨

He loves me. I was shocked.

Ricky looked at me with worried eyes, and I realized that I wasn't talking.

Say something!

I closed my mouth which was hanging wide open and walked up to Ricky. I looked up into those big brown eyes of his and said the words I had kept locked inside, never thinking I would have the guts to say them out loud, but hey... there's a first for everything.

"I love you too, Ricky!" I said, grabbing his shirt and pulling his lips that I had missed so much down to mine. The way this kiss felt was indescribable. I could say there were fireworks, but it was more than that.

It was as if a nuclear bomb of love went off. Never in my six years with Ej have I felt a kiss like this. Kissing him in this very moment was ten times better than the first time we kissed.

Ricky kissed back immediately, his soft lips continuously capturing mine. I slowly let go of Ricky's shirt and raised my arms around his neck, playfully pulling at his curls. Ricky moaned into my mouth before I felt his tongue lick my lower lip, asking for entrance which I happily gave. I moaned in pleasure as Ricky's hands trailed down my back sending shivers down my spine.

His hands grabbed my hips and pulled me closer to his body, if that was even possible. We pulled away all too soon, both panting and trying to catch our breath. He leant his forehead against mine and grabbed my hand. "So... this means you're not leaving right?" Ricky asked me, making me laugh. I shrugged my shoulders. "No, I still might leave." I said, seriously. I tried to mask my smile when I saw disappointment etch onto his face. "What? You'd really still leave after I expressed how I felt?" He asked, not fully catching onto my joke. "Do not be so gullible, Bowen. Of course I'm gonna stay. I would've stayed anyways if you asked me to. Love or not!" I said, smiling.
