Bliss.

That's all I feel as I wake up to my face and neck being peppered with small kisses.

"Hey, you." I smiled at my curly-headed boyfriend. He smiled back and gave me a proper kiss. "Good morning, beautiful." He whispered against my lips before cuddling back into me. "What time is it?" I asked him.

"6:45." Ricky responded.

I started to get up from the couch, giggling when Ricky's arm tightened around me. "Don't go." he murmured into my shoulder. "I wish I could stay here and cuddle with you all day but this house won't pay for itself. Plus, you have lessons to get to." I said, planting a kiss on Ricky's forehead. "I know, I know. Why do people have to schedule lessons so early?! The ocean's not going anywhere, you know?!" He groaned.

I playfully rolled my eyes and walked upstairs to quickly change into my uniform since I only had about five minutes before I had to leave. I walked into the kitchen a couple minutes later and found Ricky staring blankly at my opened fridge. I giggled and walked over to him, "Is there a reason why you're staring into the fridge?" I asked, shaking Ricky lightly. "I just- how do you get up this early?" Ricky asked mid yawn. I giggled and closed the door, leading my tired man over to a seat.

"Here, I'll make you some coffee while you wake up." I told him.

There was a comfortable silence as the coffee brewed and when I turned back around with Ricky's mug, he was just staring at me. "What are you looking at?" I asked, walking back over to him to hand him his coffee. "Just admiring the love of my life." Ricky said, making me smile.

I  looked at the clock and saw it was seven. Shit.

"Ah! I have to go!" I said, getting up quickly and grabbing my bag. "I'm going to be late!" I exclaimed, trying to find my keys which I swore I put in the key bowl. I was on the verge of panicking when I turned around and saw Ricky holding them in his hands. "Looking for these?" Ricky asked me. I sighed in relief, grabbing them from him. I smiled appreciatively as I walked away, but I didn't make it very far since a certain someone grabbed my arm, spun me around crashed his lips on mine. Before I could even respond to the kiss, Ricky pulled away.

"Have a good day at work. I'll see you at noon, and I love you." He whispered against my lips. "I love you too." I smiled one more time before walking out the door and to the car.

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. It's only been two days since Ricky and I expressed our love for each other and everything has felt like a dream. But if it's a dream, I never wanna wake up.

I pulled into the parking lot of the cafe a couple minutes later. Red was walking out of the door the same time I began to open it. "Hi Neens, bye Neens!" The redhead said to me as he quickly walked out.  I chuckled and waved to him before walking over to Gina, who handed me a cup of coffee. "Someone looks cheerful today." Lynne said. I realized I was still smiling and my jaw began to hurt because of it. "What are you so happy about this morning?" Gina smirked, arching her eyebrow at me. I looked at her confused then my eyes widened. "That didn't happen. Ricky and I had a mini date last night and we both fell asleep on my couch. I know it's only been two days, but he's just been amazing. Things with Ricky have been better in the last two days than they were in the last six months with Ej. I guess I'm just happy." I rambled with a smile. "Well at least my son is the sweetheart I raised him to be." Lynne said before I looked back at her and smiled. "You did an amazing job." I said, which made her smile. "Why thank you. You girls ready? It's time." The middle aged woman said, flipping the sign on the door so it read open.

"Hey, so I've been meaning to talk to you." The curly haired girl said, elusively. I raised my eyebrows. "Uh oh..." I said, but Gina chuckled. "It's not bad. Red's cousin owns this new club just half hour away from here. He's been wanting to go and I'm for it, but I want you and Ricky to come too! What do you say?" She asked me. "I'm down and I'm sure Ricky will be down too! I'll ask him about it when I see him this afternoon and let you know." I said before I spotted a family that walked in. I walked over to them a brought them to a table, giving them a couple minutes to look over the menu. I served different families and couples, and by the end of my shift, my wrists felt like they were gonna fall off.
