Alessandra Drakkon

Queen of the Drakkon Empire

I stare at the other royals projected before me by videocast, King Cedric of House Trennix was obviously missing, leaving me with only three rulers in front of me, Queen Ursula Aurelie, King Asriel Rindin, and King Kalo Morgase. "I am sure you all know why I've asked for this meeting, I will be going to war with House Trennix soon and I wanted to know where your allegiances lie." Queen Ursula did not look impressed with me, she may have looked akin to an angel on earth, but she was scowling at me fiercely over the videocast, with a rage more akin to a demon then an angel.

"House Morgase is with you, Queen Alessandra." I manage a small smile towards Kalo, having already figured he would ally with me over House Trennix, considering he hated Cedric as well as seemed to be interested in me.

"Thank you, King Kalo." I look to the other two, having already guessed where Kalo's allegiances would lie, but uncertain about the other two, though I doubt Ursula Auerlie would be doing me any favors after I took her son away from her control.

"House Rindin will remain neutral in this battle." Expected, if not slightly disappointing, I was beginning to think that Asriel Rindin would show no emotion towards anything, every choice he made was to not get involved, he didn't make any enemies that way, but he didn't exactly make any friends either.

"Your decision is noted, King Asriel. Queen Ursula, I believe you are the last to make a choice." Her face twisted into a deeper scowl upon hearing my words, looking none too pleased that I was so bored in addressing her, that I wasn't begging for her help.

"You deserve this you know, you've made enemies of too many people, taking my son away from me is only one of the many bad decisions you've made during your short rule." I give her an unimpressed look, she had no reason to hold a grudge against me.

"You are lucky I didn't demand your empire as my prize. You foolishly challenged me, too cowardly to even do it yourself, you sent your son in your place, and when I won, I was in my rights to take something evenly as important as what you would have taken if I lost. Do not be so quick to say that I offended you with my choice. I'll only be keeping him here for ten years, if you can't wait that long for him back, you have lots of years left in your life, Queen Ursula, how about you have another child, preferably someone you don't want to abuse, oh wait that's everyone my mistake." She huffed at me, her glare venomous before her videocast shut off, King Rindin glanced over to the side, obviously noting that Queen Ursula had left, before his own videocast shut off, leaving Kalo the only one left.

"I am with you always, you know that don't you?" I gave him a small smile, having forgiven him for his mistake, but not quite been prepared to try to have the same relationship we did before, budding friendship that might turn to something more in the future. "I would fight this battle for you, you know, you need only say the word and he will be dead come tomorrow morning." I sigh softly, almost wishing I could take him up on his offer. "I know you won't, you are too prideful to do that, but I will be here to help you always Alessandra. Whether it is to give you technology so that you can save your mother's people, or giving you sanctuary if you lose this war, or your family attempts another coup." My hand twitched at my side, I just wanted to reach forward and grasp his hand, to take comfort in his presence, as well as his words, but he was entire systems away from me, in his own Empire.

"Thank you, Kalo. That means a lot to me. I hope to see your Empire one day, though I wish it won't be because I was chased out of my own." He gives me soft smile before dipping his head to me in a slight bow and then his videocast shuts off.

Leaving me alone in my office, though Yanu and Tanza were just outside the door. I couldn't believe this was happening, I felt like I dealt with one issue only to have another rise up in its place. I take a deep breath and stand up, heading for the door, though I don't head for the war room once I leave my office, instead I go to the shuttle pad, Tanza and Yanu following quietly behind me, already knowing where I am going.
