It was quite some time after Sebastian was supposed to awake him, this caused young Ciel to grow worried, and then he heard a knock upon the door, he desperately hoped it was Sebastian coming in to greet, but, instead, he saw Tanaka and looked disapprovingly at him.

"Where's Sebastian?" Ciel asked in outrage.

"Young master, I will be serving you today." Tanaka replied bowing.

Ciel bolted out of the bed and into the hallway before discovering Sebastian's bloodied corpse laying in the middle of the floor as though it was nothing, his eyes were wide open in shock, and blood spatters were everywhere as Ciel gazed upon his dead butler, tears filling his eyes, but he never let any fall from his eyes.

"S-Se-Sebastian, get up right now!" Ciel exclaimed as a tear finally fell from his eyes. "Please, I need you, we all need you... So - get up this instant! Se-Sebastian..."

Ciel fell to his knees and wept on Sebastian's chest, his tears mixing with the demon's blood, as his body began to shake violently.

"You were supposed to be there for me forever! You were supposed to stay by my side!" Ciel exclaimed as even more tears inundated his face and he began to beat his fists on Sebastian's chest. "Sebastian, I order you to wake up!"

Finnian grabbed the young master's crying, pale form that shook violently upon Sebastian's deceased body and pulled him back from the body with tears pouring down his own face.

"There's no point, young master. Se-Sebastian is already... dead." Finnian said with even more tears falling from his eyes.

"Se-Sebastian..." Ciel whispered with the saddest expression you could imagine as he replayed memories of him and his butler in his mind. "Sebastian, wake up!!!" He screamed, and, odd enough, he could have sworn that he saw him move his fingers, a small rising and falling of his chest like it once did, and his eyes blinked once quickly. "Sebastian, you can stop playing dead now."

Ciel smiled, he was happy now, his butler was not dead - he was still very much alive, and it was then that he felt weird because he had never gotten this happy over anyone being alive before when he had presummed they were dead, so he attempted to change his facial expression back into a calm one as Sebastian took a deep breath and rose to his feet.

"Oh dear, I appear to have made a mess. I shall clean this up at once." Sebastian said with a smile while blood still covered his body, but Ciel didn't care, he escaped Finnian's arms and ran over to Sebastian, jumping into his strong arms and giving him a hug.

"Don't you dare scare me like that again." Ciel whispered near his ear.

"Yes, my lord." Sebastian answered with a smile, even he seemed delighted to see the young master after his death like state. "Now, I must find the proper cleaning utensils." He said while carrying Ciel with him, and, much to his surprise, Ciel didn't object.

Ten minutes or so had passed before Sebastian had finished cleaning the blood spatters and pools whilst holding the young master.

"Sebastian, may I speak to you, privately?" Ciel asked with joy in his voice.

"Why, of course, my lord." Sebastian answered with a cheerful smile and the two headed into Ciel's room, closing the doors behind them.

Ciel sat down on the bed and motioned for Sebastian to sit next to him on the bed. Sebastian complied with the order, or gesture, and sat down beside his lord who then embraced him tightly and began to weep upon his shoulder.

"S-Sebastian, I was so scared. I thought that I had lost you, I don't ever want to lose you again..." He wanted to say more, but he was afraid to say anymore out of fear of being rejected or abandoned by the butler.
