The pain surged through her as the spells from two wands traveled into her chest. It was the only ending. Seventeen million endings and only one ended in them the defeat of the dark lord. It was the only way. She had to die...

[third person pov]
Just four people remained in the hospital wing; Sirius, Tommy, Ron, and Hermione. The rest of the Weasley's had left on Dumbledore's orders.
Other than Ron's loud breathing the room was almost silent. Y/n tossed and turned quite a lot for a "dreamless sleep". The potion didn't do shit. She saw Cedric die over and over and over again. The same dream she'd been having since she was eleven. But was it even a dream?
flashback- third year: June 24th, 1994
"acid pops." As the statue swung open, a girl climbed her way to her headmasters office. It's three in the morning, lights are out and corridors are silent.
"I was expecting you miss l/n." Dumbledore rasped, petting fawkes. Y/n scoffed and flicked a beetle off her shoulder. "Then you should know why I'm here." She said, sitting in a large chair across from the elder man. "Ah of course. That dream you keep having. Purely a result of your overactive imagination."
This answer wasn't what y/n wanted. She looked at the large spherical lamp, it began to wobble slightly. Dumbledore brought her attention back towards him, "it's only as real as you make it."
Y/n stood up quickly, the lamp shining four times as bright. "This has happened before. I told you sirius was innocent in December. You told me I was wrong then too. This is a students life headmaster and I will not just sit here while you ignore the fate of him. In one year this boy will die. You cant ignore this forever. I'll be coming for you when he does. And you can bet I'll have it out for your ass."
The light shone brightly, cutting off the ability to see. And when it was gone, y/n was too.
