Thirteen

Seeing the kitchen filled with all of us together made my heart swell. Kol decided to throw a dinner party last minute. Klaus being Klaus invited a few extra guests but I'm excited to meet them. From what I gathered from Kol the guests that are coming are family to them. Kol seemed a little on edge but he wasn't letting it show, at least he thought it wasn't showing.

It made me curious what happened between them. Thinking about it further I thought about earlier when Kol brought up the dinner party idea.

2 hours earlier

Kicking my legs in the pool I watched Kol talking intently to Klaus and Camille. I wonder what they were talking about?

It was like they could feel me staring because right then Kol turned his attention to look at me.

Waving me over he hollered at the girls and I, "Hey will you girls come join us for a bit!?" casting my confused look to the girls I stood from the pool and waited for them.

After Natalie and Hannah finally climbed out they followed me over to the jacuzzi. Climbing in and moving to sit between Kol's legs, who was sitting on the edge of the tub instead of in it, he leaned down to rest his forearms on my shoulders. I let myself lean back against him and enjoyed both the feeling of him rest on me and the hot water surrounding my body. Following suit the girls almost climbed in and settled comfortably into the jacuzzi.

"So clearly you called us over to talk because that was kinda weird how you did that," Natalie addressed Kol who laughed in response to her.

"Yes I did, so I would like to host a dinner party. Tonight. I just would like to get us all together and enjoy a beautiful night and fabulous food together."

"Ooh that sounds like fun!" Hannah was growing excited. Probably because she hasn't gotten to see much of her siblings, especially all of them together at one time very much since she's been here.

"So this dinner party, I have a few guests in town that I'd like to join us. If that's alright with all of you?" Klaus looked amongst us as he asked and with all of us giving approval he turned to Kol who remained silent, "Kol is that alright?"

"Who's your guests, brother?" earning a small smile from Klaus he hesitated before he answered.

"Marcel is here, with a friend of his." Marcel? Could it be the same? No Davina. No that's crazy he couldn't possibly know him.

"Marcel is here? In New York?" Their Marcel isn't from New York? Freya did meet me in New Orleans and I know that's where Klaus met Camille as well.

Could this be my Marcel? I tuned into the conversation wanting to know everything I could.

"Yes he is," Camille joined in on the conversation and she held a gaze with Kol, "He's here and he'd like to come. We thought it'd be a great opportunity to reconnect?"

"Alright. Fine invite him then," Kol decided and then leaned down to place a kiss on my temple, "Let's go love. I'd like some time alone with you before we start this thing," nodding my head in response to him I looked up towards everyone else.

Saying our farewells we stood from the jacuzzi and headed for the elevator.

I pulled myself away from my thoughts upon hearing the familiar ding of the elevator. That must be Marcel and his friend, I was anxiously waiting to see who they were. Watching Klaus and Camille rise from the love seat in the living room they walked over to greet Marcel and his date.
