Strolling through the hallway after school, on my way to practice, i see the most beautiful boy in the world. Only, others are making fun of him, and all of them are against him. I've never seen him before in my life.

"Get out of the way you fag. you ain't nothin' but an ugly ass emo-wannabe!" I listen in closer as he doesn't say a word, staring at the ground. I walk up a little closer with my books hugged tightly against my chest.

One of the others push the boy, as he falls to the ground he still keeps his head down, not attempting to get back up, fight, or say something back. "Fag.", they all mumble under their breath as they walk away. i then walk up to the boy, kneel down, and sit on the ground in front of him, his head still dropped.

I gather up his books and hold it on top of mine. "It's okay..." I say as i slouch and try to see his face. I smile and hand him his books. He gives a fake smile and takes them. "What's your name?" I ask, hoping to hear his voice. He opened his mouth, but words never came out.

"My name is Sky..." I say quieter, and more shy. I blush at the awkwardness and break the silence again. "You can talk to me if you need help... I honestly just want to get to know you..." I get up, and walk. I'm already 30 minutes late to practice... I feel like i should just skip, or else my teacher would give us a ten hour lecture on how you should never be late and you should always have your clothes for practice. So I'll skip.

I turn back around and walk toward him as he starts to get up. "Hey." He looks back at me and holds his books close to him. "Sorry, can we just walk off the campus? I'm kind of skipping practice, and i don't feel like getting caught" He starts walking.

"Am i bothering you?" I asked nervously, walking next to him on the sidewalk. "No" he says quietly. i could hardly hear him. "Don't leave" he says a little louder. His voice was beautiful. I was in love with it already. I look up at him and blush a little. He looks back, then flips his hair out of his eyes a little and pushes up his glasses. "What happened back there?" i ask, then hold my books closer. "Uh... I don't... Really know..." he looks down. There's no one around. I found us walking towards the library. I guess I really am skipping practice.

I looked down and thought about my mom finding out if i did this. i had to think quick. "Uh.. when do you leave? Do you know?" "I walk home whenever i want, my sister gets home at 9." "well i should start walking back around 5:20... my mom would kill me if she found out i was walking to the library and skipping practice." "Okay," he stopped for a second, then blushed, "I'll walk you back"
