Your POV
"Guys quit talking you're gonna wake her up." I hear Benny whisper. He has his arms wrapped around me, and im pulled into his chest. I open my eyes only a little before I close them, and snuggle closer to Benny. "Damnit y'all woke her up." I heard Benny whisper. "Can I sleep more?" I ask into his chest. "Course you can Bubs." He replies.

Benny's POV
"Okay, she's asleep now." I whisper as quietly as I can. "So are you two finally dating now?" Smalls whispers. I look down at her and back up at the guys and nod my head yes. "Took you two long enough. What happened last night?" Ham whispered. "Well, she had a nightmare about her aunt. When she got up I woke up, and I followed her outside to the deck. She told me everything that happened, and then we kissed. After we kissed I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes." I replied. "Now, if you guys don't mind I'm going to sleep until she wakes up." I added as I rested my head on top of hers.

I walk out to the sandlot after I finished getting ready. Benny had already told the guys we were dating which I don't mind at all. Hell, I think they were all waiting for it anyways. Especially Smalls. I mean he thought we were dating when we first met him. By the time I made it to the dugout I realized how hot it was outside. I noticed the cooler was out. "If I don't faint today it's going to be a miracle." I said as I laid down on the dugout bench. "And that's why you aren't going to play a lot today." Benny said as he opened a soda and handed it to me. "For once I won't fight with you." I replied as I sipped my soda. It's to hot to play. Even for me, and I freaking love to play.

"Where in the hell are Yeah-yeah and Squints." I asked looking around and noticing they were gone. "Supposed to get a ball. They should've been back by the time you got here." Ham said. I laid my half drank soda on the ground, and put my hands over my eyes to shield the sun even more. "Bubbles, do you wanna go home. I can carry you. You can go sit at my house in my room and sleep. My mom wouldn't mind at all." Benny said lightly and he crouched down beside me. "I'll be fine Benny. If I feel bad I promise I will tell you. I just think I'll sit in here for today." I said in the same tone. "One sec, I'll be back." Benny said as he walked off.

Benny POV
I went to the treehouse and grabbed my bag, and inside was an extra white t shirt. I climbed down the ladder and walked towards the dugout. I opened the cooler and dunked the shirt in the ice. Even though the ice is in a cooler, some of it has melted. I wring out the excess water and walk back over to her . I fold the t shirt into a square and lay it on her forehead. "That feels good." She says and smiles lightly. I chuckle at her reaction. "I bet it does Bubbles. Tell me when you need me to do it again." I say and stand up. "Is she okay?" Smalls asks me concerned. "Yeah she is. She just needs some time. By the time Squints and Yeah-yeah arrive she will be better. She just needs to cool down." I respond and take another sip of my soda. I look back down at her and I smile. Gosh I'm in love.
