Sticks and Shapeshifters

Sakura and Nayru played with their sticks. The twins sisters, both 12 years old, were Shapeshifters. They might not have found their spirit animal yet, but they were part of the clan because of their parents. The girls had found two little pointed sticks. That was there only weapon... Well except being able to shapeshift. (When someone finds their spirit animal, they can morph into any animal. The girls had yet to find their spirit animal.) Their grandfather ran up to the girls, became a tiger, and pounced on the young girls. Both girls' black hair got messed up. The tiger purred softly and looked into the girls' blue eyes. The twins laughed loudly and their grandpa became human again. Their grandpa laughed cheerfully. Sakura and Nayru grabbed their sticks and poked their grandpa with it. "Ok, time for lunch," Grandpa said. Grandpa's voice was like Santa's jolly voice. Each girl grabbed one of their grandpa's hands and went to lunch.
After lunch, the two girls ran off into the forest, which was in between the mountains, playing with their sticks. A huge howl came from the distance. Sakura turned her head to see a boy there. They ran over and Nayru asked, "Hey, who are you?" The boy stared into the girl's eyes. Sakura came up to him. She thought that if she introduces herself, the he might tell them who he is. "HI! My name is Sakura. This is my twin sister, Nayru. We come from on top of the hills, the Shapeshifters land." She explained. "Who said I wasn't a Shapeshifter?" The boy said. I gasped. If he was a shapeshifter,then why isn't he with the other Shapeshifters? He grinned a sly smile and told, "Ahh... I own these forest areas. I am the alpha. You two, are in the forest, where I live. NOW GET OUT!" Sakura took that sly smile right off of the boy's face. She nodded at her sister, and Sakura ran up to the boy, and grabbed his hands. Nayru ran up and poked the pointy sticks into him. The boy shouted out of pain as the sticks went through his skin. "THAT IS IT!" The boy screamed and morphed into a wolf. He picked up Nayru, and threw her across the forest. Sakura started to cry and sat down on the floor. She let go of the boy's hands, and hugged her stick. Nayru had gotten hurt! The boy looked at her, with his paws ready to hurt, but stopped. "There's just some little kids. I'll let this one go," he thought. Then, Sakura looked up to the boy will hatred in her eyes. She held her stick tightly and said, "LOOK. I don't know who you are, but if you hurt any of us, you get faced by my grandpa. My grandpa is the leader of the Shapeshifters. "YOU BETTER BE QUIET AND COME WITH ME!" Sakura yelled and stood up. She grabbed his arms, and pushed him towards the place where her grandpa was still finishing lunch. "He hurt sis!" Sakura whined. Grandpa looked up. "Where is Nayru?" He asked in a concerned voice. Sakura pointed in the direction of the forest. Grandpa walked up to the boy. The boy wasn't scared a bit and looked right into his eyes. Grandpa turned into his spirit animal, the tiger. He walked up to the boy and pawed him. "Come here," he roared. The boy turned into his spirit animal, the wolf, and followed him. Sakura looked to see the other Shapeshifters bring her sister back from the forest. "NAYRU!" She yelled and approached her sister.
Grandpa and the boy were off to the side, talking. "What is your name? Why haven't you joined the shapeshifter group? All Shapeshifters stay with this tribe or group," Grandfather stated. The wolf howled, " Well... First of all, I am Solem. I lived in the forest because I liked it, and I don't like helping people." Grandfather suddenly pounced at Solem. Solem immediately blocked it and made a huge blow at the tiger. "I've always wanted someone who's capable," the tiger(Grandpa) said. Solem looked at him, curious of why he said that. "I tested you right there. You are strong. Anyways, I want you to go on a quest with my granddaughters. They are young and don't understand many things, but they are powerful." "Why would I do this?" Solem asked. "After the quest is complete, you will attain a full wolf army, and an expansion in the forest," Grandpa bargained. Solem agreed on the deal and started to stay with the girls in the tribe.
