The End of it All

The team stood inside the castle, waiting for the queen to enter. It had been half an hour, and they were getting tired. Some grunted in frustration of the waiting. Nobody said a word though, because the queen might come in at any moment. Though one of them became so bored, they just had to speak.

"What if the queen entered through another exit? I mean, there's exactly 32 entry areas in the castle," Sapphire commented. Some nodded in agreement to her. There was no noise outside, which means that the queen must have gone inside. Some though, shook their heads. "To go to the entrances the queen has to pass by this hallway. We would have heard her footsteps even if she did go there," Sakura replied. Everyone decided to stay then. As in cue to their boredom, footsteps were heard coming in their way.

The group crept out of their hiding spots, and got in their attack positions. "Ouch!" Jinx yelled. Everyone told her to be quiet. Everyone was facing different directions, so nobody knew why Jinx even said ouch in the first place. Soon after realizing that they needed to see why, everyone turned their heads to Jinx. Everyone's mouth dropped simultaneously. Jinx hadn't said ouch because something poked her. She had said ouch because the queen was on top of her. The queen's foot was pressing into her back. "Uh. Should have looked sooner, eh?" Nayru said, trying to lighten up the mood. The queen just grinned. "Oh, oh, oh. Looks like you're going to lose again, pesky, useless, children," The queen mocked. Sapphire cheeks got red, and her eyes narrowed. "Oh, oh, oh. Looks like you're little lie to going to get destroyed now," Sapphire retorted with the same sweet yet evil tone of voice as the queen. The group grinned back at the queen. The fight had just begun.

Solem turned into his wolf and aimed for the staff, leaping towards it. The queen swirled her staff, and Solem flew back, and hit the wall. "When we met last time my staff was being used at minimum level," The queen smirked. Solem felt his conscious slipping away, and passed out. "Solem!" Lynn cried, hurrying over to use her healing stick on him. The queen laughed. She wasn't going to let Solem get healed. "Lynn, I sent you to get rid of this person. Now what do I see? You joined forces with him. You betrayed your queen... I won't ever let you have him again!" The queen bellowed. She spinner her staff and lightning shot at Lynn. Jinx tried to make her magic stick get into the way, but it didn't work. In fact, the bolt fried up her stick. Lynn was too shocked to react, and the bolt hit her right in the back. Lynn dropped down right next to Solem.

Anger started to rouse into the rest. Edwin turned into his goat form and rushed over to the side of the queen. She started to aim her staff at him, but he kept jumping around. The queen started to get annoyed. The boy was driving her crazy. Suzan then came in. While Edwin was distracting the queen, she turned into a lion. Suzan pounced onto the queen, dropping her to the ground. Jinx quickly hurried over and picked up the queen staff, which was on the ground. She tossed it over to Sapphire. Sapphire was about to break the staff, when the staff released a gust of air right into her face. Sapphire fell down, and the staff rolled back to the queen.

"Did I tell you that I can control the staff with my mind?" The queen said with a cackle. The queen pushed Suzan off, and she started to skid across the floor. The queen quickly grabbed her staff. She pointed it at the ground, and spikes appeared. Suzan skidded across the spikes, earning scars. Suzan too, passed out. Now, only Jinx, Sakura, and Nayru were still alive. Jinx pulled out her magic stick, and made lighting appear out of it. Sakura and Nayru grabbed out their holy sticks, and all of them morphed into their spirit animals. Jinx leaped towards the queen. The queen dodged it and Jinx landed face first on the ground. "Go to sleep little Panther," The queen said, and splashed a sleeping medicine onto Jinx. She slept immediately.

"Looks like it's just you two twins. The weakest. The most childish. You don't even have that much sense yet. I mean seriously- who's spirit animal is a fox? So weak... And you, my girl. A wolf. Impressive. Though not that much. At least you'll last longerthan your sister," The queen commented. Sakura and Nayru looked into each other's eyes. They knew just what to do.
