The Cat Family

Author's Note: I finally made a chapter!!!

"Guess what happened to us?" Nayru asked. "What?" The others asked. "NOTHING!" Sakura said, laughing. The sisters had decided to keep it a secret that they had found their spirit animals. All the others either said wow, or face palmed. Sakura, Nayru and Sapphire all handed out of the food. They hadn't found much, so Lynn decided that she would get some more.

As Lynn walked around, she saw a cheetah far away.

"Lightning," Lynn hissed at the electric yellow cheetah "What are you doing here,"Lynn said, making it sound like a statement. The cheetah gave her a crooked smile and growled,"Hello Lynn! Nice to see you again. As you can see I'm here to kill you!" His eyes turn dark on the last word and a blood thirsty look creeped up his face. Lynn immediately tried to shift into a cheetah but only got stuck halfway.
"Hehe looks my queen did take half of your power..." His smile grew, he licked his lips and lunged. Lynn sidestepped and elbowed his back. He whirled around and,like his name, was lightning fast to pin her down. Lynn struggled but was unable to get out from under him. So Lynn did the first thing the came to mind. She half shifted into a wolf and took a deep breath, then howled "SOLEM!!!!!"

Solem was following a rabbit trail when he heard a howl saying my name. Solem grinned and muttered,"Looks like someone's in trouble." He shifted into a wolf and raced towards the direction of the howl.

Sapphire raised her head to the wolf call. She tugged on big sister Nayru's sleeve. Nayru turned to look at Sapphire.
"Yes Sapphire?" Nayru asked.
" Lynn?" Sapphire replied.
"Huh?" Sakura asks confused.
"Yes I heard it," Nayru says.
"It was just a wolf howling." Sakura says still confused.
"No, Lynn howling 'Solem'" Sapphire said. Sakura started to laugh, really hard.
"You're kidding Lynn asking for Solem to help??? Wow that's just-" Sakura was cut off by Nayru dragging her towards the howl. Sapphire follows after my sisters.

Still pinned under the Lightning, Lynn just hoped that Solem would make it before she gets eaten alive. She started to shift back. The cheetah's saliva dripped onto the forest floor next to me. Don't get me wrong, the only reason Lynn called for Solem is because he's the same age as her and the best choice for help. Lynn closed her eyes and the cheetah hot breath came closer to my face. Then a force knocked Lightning off me. Lynn opened her eyes. Nayru extended her hand to help Lynn up, and she took it. Once Lynn was up she brushed herself off and heard growling and snarling. Lynn turned toward the sound and saw a large gray wolf was attacking Lightning.

"Geez Solem you're violent!" Lynn yelled at the two. Lightning took the chance to run away. Solem shifted back a smirked,"Someone can't handle themselves?" He teases while looking at the cut on Lynn's face. The closeness was uncomfortable. Lynn turned away, blushing. Solem chuckled. According to where the laugh came from, Lynn punched Solem in the face.

"You're more violent I just saved you and then you punch me, real nice Lynn!" Solem growled.

"Sorry you were making me uncomfortable," I whined.

Sakura walked up to Lynn. She had a bunch of leaves in hand. "I'm not a great healer, but when it comes to healing with nature, I'm good,"Sakura commented. She walked over to Lynn and put the leaf on the cut on her face. Sakura took a deep breath, and all the leaves on the trees rustled. Wind blew threw, though it wasn't the storm type of wind. It was a calm, tranquil wind. The wind that acts as a fan. Lynn's scar got covered up, with only a bit of blood left. Sakura winked, "That's how foxes heal others- By using nature. The herbs always help." Lynn stared at Sakura. How did Sakura know so much about foxes? Just when she was about to ask, all the others came.

Jinx skipped over and handed Lynn her healing stick. Jinx made the widest smile on Earth, and used her magic stick. Bunnies appeared all over the ground. Everyone laughed. "Bunnies make everything better!" Jinx squealed. You would think that they did the face palm, but in fact, everyone just continued laughing. Some of them picked up the bunnies. Sakura wiggled one of the bunny's nose against hers. Though everybody stopped having fun when they realized something. Everyone was here, except one person- Suzan.

Everyone went in pairs. They had become a search party, searching for Suzan. Sapphire with Nayru, Solem with Lynn, and there had to be a three sum- Edwin, Jinx, and Sakura. They all headed in different directions, shouting Suzan's name.

Everybody had ran off to see what was going on, but Suzan had stayed back. Now she didn't know where they were. She wandered aimlessly, without any hope of finding anyone. Suddenly, Suzan heard a low growl coming from behind her. She quickly turned around. Suzan turned into a leopard and got in attack position. There, in front of her, was the fierce lion.

Suzan pounced at the lion, and gnawed at its leg. The lion roared in pain. The fierce lion kicked his leg, and Suzan flew off. She landed hard on the ground, and dust swirled around her. Though she got up again, and charged yet again. The lion just dodged, and Suzan banged into a tree. Blood trickled down her face, but she wiped it with her paw. She kept on attacking, but lost every single time. Then something popped in Suzan's head. It was a saying. "The onley thin' that can scra a diamon' is a diamon'. The onley thin' that can hur a lion is a lion... Or lioness in ma case," Suzan mumbled. She ran up to the lion and slowly turned into one herself. Suzan grabbed the lion's neck and sunk her sharp teeth into it. She let go, and saw the now lifeless fierce lion dead. Suzan grinned and pushed the lion away with her paws.

Now all Suzan had to do was find the others. Though that was simple since lions and lionesses have a good sense of smell. Suzan tracked down all of them and saw only three people- Sakura, Jinx, and Edwin. She ran up to them, and completely forgot that she was still in lioness form. When Edwin saw Suzan, he immediately took out one of his gadgets. It wasn't one of his own inventions, but he used it frequently. It was a walkie talkie. He spoke through it and in no time everyone was there. They all sighed. Suzan was fine. "Well. Looks like two people found their spirit animals today- Suzan and Lynn. Oddly, what they fought were both from the cat family. Well Lynn found hers halfway..." Solem commented. Lynn glared at him. "Yeah. Now only the three sisters and Jinx are left," Suzan continued. The three sisters' faces tightened. The rest noticed it and Lynn asked, "What are you hiding from us?" The sisters looked at each other. What were they going to say?
