[A/N: Aslan appointed Narnias first rulers, the cabby and his wife, as King Frank I and Queen Helen and commanded them to rule peacefully over the talking beasts.
I'll be using them and giving names to their daughter and son]

𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐍𝐘 struggled to keep up with their pace. she had never been much of an athlete, so she wasn't trained for this type of long trek. thankfully her clothes had dried up thanks to the heat so she didn't feel more weight than she needed, however, the hill the castle stranded on kept getting higher and higher, she couldn't help feeling like she was walking backwards and would never arrive to it.

by the time they reached the portcullis, a thin layer of sweat covered their skin as the hot weather was at its peak during this time of the year.

a glaring man opened the gates for them, and they entered the castle. it had an enormous yard and many creatures working and chatting amongst themselves. some of them stared at her from a distance. yet she still couldn't find it in herself to believe the story about the prophecy, however amazing and epic it sounded.

walking inside the castle through the big wooden doors, she examined the room in great detail.

as she entered the great entrance, she ascended up a two-way marble stairs, with ivy all over the railings and flowers on wild vegetation. on the walls, there were many important faces on portraits and different species painted inside the castle. they were all part of a big family. there were pillars all over, and the floors had drawings of suns and moons. big chandeliers illuminated the grand room.

through another set of doors, she finally encountered the most important people inside the house, the king, queen, and their children.

the four of them sat on big oak thrones with big smiles. all of them wearing simple yet colourful gowns and uniforms. the mom and daugher had the same green eyes and smile, while the father and son shared their jawline and nose.

up close, she noticed the wrinkles and the dulling brightness in the elders' eyes. how the years must have taken so much from them. the teens looked as bright as the sun and the stars, and their smiles illuminated the entire room.

upon noticing her, the king introduced himself and his family, "hi, kenny. my name is frank, this is my wife helen, and my son and daughter, oliver and mary." he said, smiling. the teens greeted her with a wave of their hands, and the queen nodded at her.

"now, you must be feeling lost for sure, dear." the queen spoke with concern.

"nice to meet you, sir. indeed, I'm lost, i don't know how i got here. one second, I'm reading next to the river, and the next one, I'm here." kenny tried to understand as she said those words. her head couldn't wrap around the new setting, the people, the creatures, the weird, comical force she experienced all over again the minute she arrived at narnia.

it was all so unsettling, she missed her family, her house, her friends. yes, narnia was looking great so far, like something she had never seen before, but that didn't mean she wasn't scared to death. she couldn't trust them so easily and had to find a way back.

"i'm so sorry, kenny, we know you must be feeling a lot of emotions right now." mary empathised, "how about i take you somewhere to relax? we could talk for a bit."
