𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐘 laid down wide awake on her bed, unable to sleep despite her efforts. she was an hour or so after her bedtime and hadn't been able to sleep a wink yet.

she stayed upset at her siblings for the rest of the day. they kept telling her she was crazy, that it couldn't have been real. maybe she hit her head and only dreamed about it.

however, she stayed true to her beliefs and what she experienced and thought twice about her next actions.

she sat down and slipped in her boots, carefully grabbing the candle's silver handle and scurrying through the cold corridors, tightening her pink robes belt with one hand.

edmund, who had to go to the bathroom minutes before, saw the bright light disappearing behind a corner. he carefully followed the brunette towards the room she was heading to.

lucy slowly made her way into the room and walked carefully towards the two long wooden doors.

the room was poorly illuminated by the blue light that came from the window on the left wall. the cold caused chills to run up her back and neck.

she hesitated to open it. afraid of the disappointment and a bit scared she might have gone crazy.

but despite her worries, she opened it anyway.

she grabbed the knob and twisted it. as it opened, a light breeze came from it that blew up her flaming candle, and with that, a bright smile showed on her face. it was there, still.

as lucy went inside the wardrobe, edmund opened the door to be welcomed by a dimly lit room. but no lucy on sight.

"lucy... where are you?" he confusingly asked, but the girl had disappeared inside the magic wardrobe. which he was still ignorant about.

he got closer to it. "boo!" he exclaimed as he opened the door and looked in it. edmund looked inside confusedly. where was his sister?

"lucy?" edmund sang as he closed the door behind him. "hope you're not afraid of the dark!" his voice echoed. his sister surely had a nice game pick. she was just playing hide and seek late in the middle of the night, of course! the boy now could only see robes, and neat, old coats as he fell into darkness.

his face wrinkled at the wood's smell. It fell silent, and it made him start seeking for his sister, looking through the robes. he turned and walked backwards for a moment until he fell into a blanket of snow as he groaned.

the first thing he saw were the unmistakable pine trees that were found in forests. he quickly stood up to look for his sister, now evidently scared. edmund kept on calling for her sister in hopes she would magically appear.

"lucy! I think I believe you now!" he prowled around the white tinted trees with his blue robe.

he got to the lamp post his sister once was at. where she met mister tumnus and where kenny started to follow them to his house. surprisingly, she wasn't there today, as she always was at this time to have tea with some of her friends.

he stared at it and then went on looking for lucy while calling her name. he was very worried. anyone could tell he was.

it was so not like him, but at that time, he wasn't even thinking about himself. he just wanted to find his sister, who's most probably lost and any minute form freezing.

at some point, he stopped in what looked like it could be a path or street and looked to both sides until the sound of reindeers' hooves and jingling bells resonated in his ears. the image of a sledge appeared through the fog.
