𝐁𝐈𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐁𝐘𝐄 to the creatures and the siblings, kenny grabbed her satchel and all her useful weapons from where she left them by the campfire. with a quick trot, she and her heavy subconscious disappeared into the woods. she left the siblings in good hands to ensure they could get a well-deserved rest from all the action that had been going on for the last days.

the sun was slowly dimming its light off as the night sky took over and painted the walls dark blue. kenny had the great opportunity to yet again pay attention to the details she had so missed during the long winter. the forms and beautiful green colour the leafs had, the warm breeze that softly brushed her face as she ran through the thick trees, how the sun illuminated her face through the branches, and all the wonderful things that the narnian summer brought.

just now, kenny decided to make a small stop. throughout the years, the chamber hadn't been completely destructed from the inside but a bit blocked on the outside, considering the queen announced strict orders to destroy her last home to ruins.

nonetheless, kenny found the passageway to get access to the vault-like room and through all the cement, spider webs, glass, and everything. she had to climb halfway to the castle and turn to the left where there were many stones of different sizes all piled up over a hidden trapdoor.

she moved all the stones to keep the door invisible, kenny lifted the door by the iron handle, and after stepping both feet over the wooden stairs, she got in her refuge. and for the ones who don't remember, the chamber is mary's library.

it hadn't changed much since the first time. it was much more dusty than usual. the pages of the books were way more yellow than befor,  and some even cracked and fell to ashes when she touched them. there was evidently more ivy than a hundred years back, some shelves had fallen down, and the stone walls were even more unstable. maybe the place would fall in a couple of days. who knows? her heartbeat faltered when she realized that the room might not be there the next time she stopped by.

perhaps she could grab as many things she could save of it ever came to that.

once she had settled down to recover from the walk, she started to design a plan to save the boy. kenny had a map of the woods upon a dusty, squared, wooden table in front of a large sofa covered with a dirty greyishh blanket. the girl knew she couldn't go there unarmed. it would be like asking to be killed. after she located where her gut was leading her, she designed a strategy to be as quiet as possible to avoid getting caught in the middle of her discretion.

after half an hour, she finished her plan and finally gave herself a moment to relax and think. her mind hadn't been able to get a break on two days, and her head was now clouded with new questions and thoughts.

many years had passed, about twenty, since she acquired her power over the magical qualities that only a wizard with great experience and well structured manuscripts and textbooks can masterice.

her powers, however, never showed a source; a meaning of appearance. forces in narnia didn't appear out of thin air. the blood of the performer had to contain a certain amount of genetic connections to a mystical bloodline that knew how to exude this force and not only keep it caged in. it was a strict rule for the sake of balance.

wizards were known to be destructive and messy with their magic, leaving chaos wherever they walked by. this belief became even more firm after the appearance of the witch, event that totally messed up the balance that was intended.
