Chapter 2

~Alisa's POV~

Me and Jack go to our first class this class was filled with my old friends. I stopped hanging out with them when they all started taking shit about Madison. Like how she's gonna turn on me, and she's just using me.

"Let's sit in the back." Jack points to 2 open seats in the back.

I nod and start walking to those seats. I can feel so many people's eyes burning on the side of my face. I sit down and Jack sits in the desk next to me.

When I look up I see Mia staring at me. She wasn't really my friend. She was just one of those girls that hung out with us but never really talked.

Then I saw Logan. We were best friends. We were closer than me and Maddie but one day he just became really distant. Yeah I miss hanging out with him but he won't want to hang out with me.

Then I saw the closest person I have ever been with. Lily. We use to do everything together. I can't even describe our friendship. But I heard that she absolutely hates my guts. I tried asking her why a couple times but she just ignores me. I stopped trying to be her friend and you could tell she's glad about that.

Everyone directed their attention to the old man that walked into the room.

"Hello kids. I'm Mr. Hanger, and I will be your math teacher for the rest of the school year."

I ready didn't listen because for one I don't really care and my phone is more interesting.

I had my backpack on my desk and I was hiding my phone behind it. I was in a group chat texting with Maddie and Finks.

Maddie💩😂💙: Omg this teacher is like on drugs or something😂😂

Me: The math teacher is sooo boring he's like 70 years old👴

Finks🎀🍡💎: Ugh my class sucks This teacher is so strict like damn

Me: I'm about to fall alseep🔫

Maddie💩😂💙: Same

Finks🎀🍡💎: OMBRG THE TEACHER JUST SAW ME ON MY PHONE😂😂😂😂

Me: Nice knowing you Finks👋💋

Maddie💩😂💙: we will make sure to speak at you funeral😭😘

Finks🎀🍡💎: thank you guys so much for caring but she said that if I see it again it's mine like bitch you don't even know my password✋

Me: Finks you are me and I am you😂

Maddie: 😂😂ily guys💜

Me: gtg😘 see ya

I turned off my phone and everyone was like introducing theirselves. Are we in 1st grade or.....

"I'm Jack and, uh, I play sports." Jack stands up. He looks at me and sits back down.

I stand up. "Um I'm Alisa and I sing a little." I quickly sit back down.

"You sing?" The teacher asks.

I nod.

"Are you planning on joining our school choir?" He asks.

"No." I state.

"That a shame." He shakes him head.

"Excuse me?" I whisper.

"Huh?" He looks at me.

"I was wondering how that's a shame." I sit up in my seat.

"Well if you can sing you should join it." He shrugs.
