"soooo? what powers do you have?" bucky asked "give him a break frosty" tony groaned while bucky just rolled his eyes at him, you smiled a little at that but that smile slowly disappeared remembering your in a room with some random people "w-well i-i...." you were scared to trust these people, they have shown you that you can but it's still felt a little weird "I understand you don't trust us kid, but it'll be easier for us cause you'll be living here with us" said tony and everyone just stared at him for a second like he's grown a second head for making this decision without discussing it with them before returning their attention to you again "i-in a c-cell?" you whispered quietly
"what? no! you're not gonna be living in a cell, you've had enough cell time for no complete reason. your gonna have a room of your own" tony replied a little concerned that you thought that "but...why are you helping me?...you don't even know me and plus I'm from hydra" you asked quietly tilting your head a little to the side "it doesn't matter if we know you or not, if you're against hydra then you have nothing to worry about ash" bruce replied. you gave him a little nod and a small smile towards tony for letting you stay "thank you then"
it was honestly hard for anyone to be wary of you when those huge blue ocean eyes keep looking at everything with fascination. but they still decided to keep an eye on you, in case anything happens and you need their help
but a certain someone was not patient at all "what are your powers ash....??" you gave him a small smile and chuckled, they all smiled at that "I don't know what else I have cause they keep on injecting things in me but at this moment I do have healing powers and ice powers. that's why my skin looks pale"
"then why did you have brown hair and eyes back there?" clint asked looking fairly curious after understanding you "well, that collar you removed locks any sort of power I have, and my hair and eyes are now blue and white because of my ice power. they made that collar change my appearance so that it'll be easy to know if my powers are locked in or not. if my eye and hair color show's up back to white and blue that means something's wrong with the collar and they'll shock me till I pass out so that I can't escape" everyone looked at you sadly "you're not hiding anything right ash?" tony asked and you shook your head as in no but someone in the room said otherwise
"I'm afraid he is" out of the blue a girl with brown hair, blue eyes in weird-looking red clothes showed up and just perhaps went through your mind even with your walls up and you just stared at her wide-eyed. but she had that sad look in her eyes that said she somehow knew everything you never wanted anyone to know.
"Ashton. what are you hiding from us?" tony asked once again looking at you "i-its nothing, really" "kid." you took a deep breath ready to spill everything out, cause you knew there was no way out of this "i-i can change into a wolf" your voice was so small, you were scared of how they might react. you looked at her again to which she was now standing with Natasha and saw a small smile on her lips
it was really quiet for a bit and you had braced yourself for the worst but not what you thought would happen happened
"you can turn into a wolf?!" asked clint flabbergasted
"yes I can...but..."
"ok people! I think that should do for today. come on kid let me show you your room" you were thankful that tony interrupted seeing that you were uncomfortable while talking about that part. you followed tony after bidding everybody goodbye and walked to the elevator, letting clint sulk as tony led you away, you both went a few floors up and once reached a certain floor tony walked out and you followed "Friday unlock room num 5 we have a new guest" "sure sir room num 5 unlocked" you were confused to what just replied and seeing your face tony chuckled and explained "that was Friday, our AI system. if there's anything you don't know you can just ask her, or even to call me. just let her know and ill be there to help you"
