The avengers were currently sent out on a mission in the quinjet to infiltrate one of HYDRA's most hidden bases. They were told by fury to bring back the agents so that they can lock them at SHIELD's headquarters and put an end to it. A simple yet tricky mission but nothing they can't handle.
"ok, so we sneak in, grab all the information that can be found, bring back the agents, and hand them over to shield. got it?" said Steve "that's all good but what if we got caught?" asked Natasha from her seat "well then we'll just have to go with plan b" tony sighed "and what's plan b supposed to be tony?" asked rhodey, knowing well what his friend was gonna say "take them down and don't get killed" Tony said firmly. rhodey just shook his head amused while clint rolled his eyes "you say that every time!" he all but whined. it was tony's turn to roll his eyes "oh shut up bird brain" ten minutes later they landed at the base that was located in the middle of the woods which is in the middle of nowhere. the quinjet was invisible so they hardly attracted any attention. slowly they started to spread out trying to find an entrance so that they can get themselves inside and get this done quickly. "remember get hurt but don't get yourselves killed" steve reminded

"is there any signs of heat tony? there's literally no way in" steve asked through the earpiece clearly frustrated. "no there's none outside, just need to find a tiny-- found it. guys get here" everyone found where tony was through the earpiece and all made to an entrance "what did they fucking make this with?" the only one with that smart question would be clint "vibranium dumbass" nat answered him with a smack to the head. while they were bickering tony sent one silent blast to a weak part of the door and managed to open it, they all scattered around the place to get their hands on something or at least someone. "did anyone find anything?" sam asked through the earpiece "not yet, captain did you find anything?" asked thor "everything's clear here. you doing good there buck?" "Yeah, nothing much here as well" said bucky. suddenly the alarm went off "who did what?" tony asked groaning slightly "I don't think it's one of us tony. something else is going on" said Natasha " then let's go see what it is AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!" said cap
a few seconds later everyone was together and running towards the alarm until
"HEY STOP" one of the guards found them "I need back up at section-b6"
"seems like we have company boys" said Natasha while looking at hydra's men running towards them bucky just rolled his eyes at nat's comment
"We have eYEs nat!" he yelled out while they started running towards them
"guys split up! we have to find something here!" cap yelled while fighting back and knocking out some of their men "nat, clint go west! thor, buck go south! while cap and I will hold these guys back!" yelled tony after blasting a man unconscious. with that, they all followed tony's plan for now. all the while trying to lock up hydra's men
at least half an hour later they managed to knock out every single one of HYDRA'S men that were there, there weren't many so it was a little easier. after locking every single one of them another quinjet came flying into the base right next to their's, SHIELD came and took hydra's men and pilled them into the jet. " good job team, just give it one last check and your mission is done today" fury said while examining the place "they sure did manage to find somewhere hidden" bucky sighed quietly, steve nodded along with him before answering fury "sure fury, nat is still in there checking everything-" cap was cut by a very loud scream
"we're leaving back to shield headquarters, see who that was and settle things in there" fury said, cap gave him a nod and ran back inside with buck "nat what was that?!" cap asked while running to where it seemed like the scream came from. "I don't know, tony where did that come from?!" she asked as well from another side of the building "hold on I'm trying to find its heat source!......found it!" tony yelled into his earpiece before telling them where and they ran to where tony told them only to be stoped by a big metal door and the screams continued from inside "stand back!" with that tony blasted the door open to find a boy with brown hair tied up to a chair and being electrocuted but no one else was there
"shit, shit, shit. That chair he's in is electrocuting him we have to stop that machine!!" his broken screams just filled the entire room and it actually pained everyone to see a young boy going through something like this "stark hurry!" bucky yelled "wait up frosty!" he yelled back, trying his best to stop it and when he did, the screams got replaced with painful sobs and pants "p-p-plea-se s-sto-p... I c-cant an-y-mor-e" and he continued to cry, his voice was hoars cause of all the screaming
he looked so scared and vulnerable. it was actually painful for the team to see a young boy go through that, reminded Natasha of the red room and bucky of his brainwash sessions. everyone looked towards nat, telling her to talk to him. well to them it made sense cause she's the only girl and he might calm down a bit to a female voice
"hey kid listen to me, we're gonna get you out of this place ok? we're not here to hurt you" he was literally shaking "can you hear me?" she turned and looked at cap so he tried talking to him as well but then they saw him opening his eyes to reveal beautiful golden brown eyes
your whole body felt like shit after being electrocuted with high voltage. you vaguely remember them wanting to kill you cause they had to evacuate the place, that could only mean someone was here to take you away or they were here to use you to their advantage as well. but you couldn't think of anything at the moment cause of how painful your whole body felt. you kept your eyes closed to try and focus on something else other than the pain, you can't even use your powers cause of the stupid collar on your neck, let alone heal yourself cause of that thing.
It felt like someone else was in there with you in the room, fuck they're probably the peoples who broke in here, you thought "p-p-plea-se s-sto-p...i c-cant an-y-mor-e" the pain was too much at this point. all you can do was sob again hoping they wouldn't do anything and just lock you up in a cell or even better. kill you. for the past 17 years, you've been living in a cell, you only heard a female voice but it was all muffled. she sounds different, she's definitely with the people who broke in here, you thought. slowly you started to open your eyes even if it was painful. you turned to your left and saw a group of people standing there staring at you and the red-haired lady continued to talk
the team observed as nat tried talking to you again but this time walking towards you slowly "kid listen we're gonna bring you somewhere safe ok?" "h-...how do i..kn-ow I c-can tru-s-t y-you?" nat smiled sweetly "I know it's hard for you to trust anybody at this point but if you come with us, you'll be safe....ok? I'm gonna unlock all this ok?" nat said referring to the chair that you're locked up in. you thought for a minute before nodding your head at her with tears rolling down your cheeks "p-please...i don't wa-nna be he-re an-nymore" you said unable to bear the pain anymore
tony went towards you with a soft smile " hey kid, don't worry we'll get you out of this place alright?" tony said softly "o-ok" once tony unlocked the thick belts that locked you in place, they gave you some time to rest "do you think you'll be able to walk there kid?" tony asked "i-i think so..." but eventually cap carried you to the quinjet after trying to get you to stand cause you obviously couldn't. after everyone got into the jet cap placed you on a stretcher "just rest ok? well get you somewhere safe" after nodding your head you passed out cause the pain was still there and intense plus you were terribly weak and couldn't keep your eyes open anymore. with everything settled they were on their way back to the tower
