after that encounter with fury, you guys decided to head back to the tower and you went straight to your room. you went in and locked the door. Loki understood and didn't go chasing you deciding to give you some space and so did the others but he knows how mentally unstable you still are so he sat in the living room clearly anxious and the thought of you locking your door didn't help

"reindeer games, where's ash?" Loki sighed and looked out the window, not even acknowledging the nickname "still in his room"
"so you're saying he hasn't come out since we came back?" bruce asked this time concerned "no. he hasn't. and I've called him multiple times but he said he'll come out when he's ready" he said while rubbing his face with his hands, clearly frustrated with the situation "Loki...what if he does something to himself and we have no clue?" bucky said and on that sentence, Loki felt as his heart stopped beating
The minute he got up everyone heard someone running upstairs, they immediately know who that is and they ran up following the rapid footsteps to see you standing at the edge of the helipad with a bloody wrist.

when you guys got back you locked yourself in your room and instantly burst into tears. the memories of those children crying and screaming in pain rang in your ears. the painful cries of their parents when they saw you rip their child apart alive tore you apart
You sat there on the cold hard floor the whole day sliding a blade across your wrist as they heal back with every cut, telling yourself how much you deserve this pain, telling yourself you deserved nothing but pain and more. that's when you heard the voices again that haunted you every night, telling you that you deserve to die for everything you did and you reached the end of your tread...
"Ashton!! come down here please!!" Loki yelled "ash listen to me, you don't have to do this. whatever you're thinking it's not true!" tony yelled this time "darling please" Loki said this time with tears in his eyes, tony activated his suit ready to catch you if you decided to fall and so did petter, activating his web-shooters without you knowing
"am i....am I a monster?....I am right? c-cause I k-killed innocent chil-dren a-and people" you said quietly, but those words stabbed everyone seeing how you saw yourself. but it broke Loki the most, he loved you too much to the point he would die for you, and seeing you make this decision is killing him alive "you know that wasn't you darling....please....don't do this... you're a wonderful person....and the one's who made you do those things should be called monsters.....not you....please love. come here and we'll talk about this" Loki said making you turn around to see him, his cheeks were stained in tears. it took you all your power to not run to him and wipe those tears off his face "ash please come down here...we'll talk about this" steve said walking forward but you took on back and that made him stop "ash" this time nat said with tears in her eyes
you told yourself he deserved better. you told yourself you don't deserve such a person like him and that he deserves someone better than you. and with that thought in mind, you slowly leaned back mouthing I'm sorry and I love you to Loki before your feet no longer touched the ground. letting the wind blow through your hair until you felt someone grab your waist before everything you saw was black
the moment you fell Loki dropped onto his knees, he couldn't think straight nor breathe. he was in utter shock, thor kneeled beside him and gently laid his arm around his shoulder, to be honest, he's never seen his brother show such emotions before, his face just showed how broken he is. even though Loki tried to kill him multiple times he still cared and even if he tried to rule the earth. he knew his brother still cared about him, it's just that he doesn't want to show it. everyone was shocked and terrified after you fell, none of them were able to utter a sound
petter was the first to run and jump off and dive straight for you, tony right behind you both and once he caught you he shooted one of his webs towards tony and he caught it. bringing you both back to the helipad. loki 's breath hitched after seeing you come back in one piece as peter carried you bridal style and laid you on his lap, he instantly wrapped his arms around you and carried you back to the medical ward while everyone just followed him, not daring to say a word. especially when the god is this emotional

It's been a week since it happened and a week since you haven't woken up, Loki never really left your side, bruce wrapped up your cuts even if their healing on their own he thought it would be better. nat and clint did a full check on your room for anything that can harm you, they found a few blades and a bottle of sleeping pills although they don't know how you got them. you took half the bottle before you jumped off so bruce had to do something about that too. but you were all clean now, just need to wake up
"Has he woken up yet?" rhodey asked from the living room "*sigh*no he hasn't" Steve said, they all hoped that you would wake up soon "how's Loki then?" nat asked, even if she hated him for trying to take over new york, she somehow saw a little change in him
none of them still know to why he did that including you, but they know the time will come for when they find out the truth "Loki hasn't left his side and tony hasn't slept or eaten anything in a week nor did Loki" steve said clearly worried and concerned for the both of them
"We gotta do something about it, rhodey, get tony to freshen up and eat. ill go do that same to Loki" nat said and got up "want me to come?" steve's still wary about Loki, no one knows what he could do in his emotional state "I'll be fine rogers" she yelled or her shoulder, already on her way to the med bay

"hey" nat called while leaning on the door frame for Loki, Loki briefly turned around before nodding his head, acknowledging her presence "Romanoff" he said tiredly before turning back around to face you "why don't you get some rest and eat something while I stay here with him" she asked and wasn't surprised when he hesitated
"he'll be fine, I promise, you need to take care of yourself too. he'll be worried about you when he wake's up" he thought about it for a moment before nodding "let me know if he wakes up"
"Jarvis will notify you" he sighed and left, nat looked at you for a minute before walking over and sitting down on the chair Loki sat on. she stroked your hair before speaking
"you have to get up ashy, everyone's worried about you and of course we miss your goofiness. we will do whatever you want...just...please wake up" she said while holding your hand and stroking your head, letting her tears fall....you've made a special place in everyone's heart, and that is tearing them apart..
