It's almost gonna be the third week since you attempted to take your life and haven't woken up yet, everyone came in to see you every chance they get and Loki once again never left your side
when everyone was in the living room bruce came in running "guys look, I'm not sure about this but I think we might be able to wake him up soon, it's more of his decision, if he chooses not to wake up he would stay under longer. maybe if we say a few things to him it might really work...cause he can still hear us" he said panting a little after running
in an instant, the ward was full with the team, they all took turns in trying to get you to wake up, telling you fun memories about the pranks and much more but to no avail "ash please dear...wake up...I can't see you like this anymore" Loki said as his voice cracked a little at the end. everyone literally felt sorry for the god
it hurts them more knowing that you're deciding not to wake up yet, but they knew they were not going to lose hope, not yet, cause they knew you would wake up soon
that you'd come back to them
it was dark, you didn't know where you were but you knew you needed to get out. you were surrounded by darkness and wanted nothing but to be back in Loki's arms "ash!"
"steve?! nat?! Loki?!, god where am I, and where are you guys?!" you were practically starting to panic "no you...I can't panic now" you said to yourself and took in a deep breath "wake up dear...please" you heard Loki's voice and that only encouraged you to search and think harder so that you can be in his arms again, you heard everything they said, the things they reminded you, the time you've spent with them...
"come on ash wake up" bucky mumbled under his breath, he normally didn't talk much but he still enjoyed your company at times, especially when you helped him with his nightmares
when Loki felt your fingers twitch in his cold hands he looked up with tears in his eyes "Ashton?" he called out as he searched your face with hope in his eyes, voice so soft and vulnerable, and the minute your eyes fluttered open he instantly pulled you into his soft, warm, tight embrace.
you let out a comfortable sigh and chuckled as you heard him say this "don't ever do that again" but all you could do at the moment was hug him back, when you opened back your eyes you saw tony right behind the both of you with tears in his eyes, he just nodded his head and ushered the team to leave you guys some space
the both of you stayed in each other embrace for a few more minutes before he broke it to look into your eyes "why?...i..did I--" you cut him off with your lips on his which got him to shut up and kiss you back
"this has nothing to do with you Loki...don't blame yourself...ok?" he just sighed and placed his head on yours "I love you my wolf, please don't forget that. I'm here for you, everyone here is. your not alone love" he voiced out, you needed t hear that
"God I love you" you said as you kissed him again "well I am a god" he mumbled against your lips too which you giggled a little
"Why don't we go take a shower love" he said while smirking "oh how I would love that" you replied making him have a devilish grin which made you gulp "there's no turning back now darling" as soon as he said that you both ended up in his bathroom.......naked
just for your info, it's not for the nasty but for Loki as he pampered you to no end

the both of you headed down to the living room where the avengers were, what confused you was pepper being there with them, you've never really met her properly but you knew she was tony's girlfriend/wife
"Hey kid, how are you doing?" he asked with a cup of whiskey in his hands "I'm better" you simply said as he looked over at steve to where he gave an encouraging nod to him. Tony took a deep breath and looked at you "hey uhm kid?" you looked over at him from Loki's lap "yea?"
"Look I know you just woke up but...me and pep here thought of....uhm....adopting you" he said as he walked closer to you, you stood up wide-eyed and a slightly opened mouth "y-you want to.....adopt me? for real like...i-i" you were struggling to get the words out but you felt happy that someone is willing to adopt you. tony just smiled at you and pulled you into a hug "t-thank you.....thank you tony" you said almost on the verge of tears but decided against it. he hugged you tighter after hearing those words
"you don't have to thank me kiddo. pepper and I already arranged the papers to officially adopt you" you were practically jumping out of excitement now, pepper let out a small giggle "no hugs for me?" she asked with a fake pout to which you ran over and tackled her and both ended up laughing "looks like someone's excited" said bucky to which he regretted cause the next thing they know he was covered in snow
the whole tower erupted into a fit of laughter, bucky shook his head to get the snow out of his hair "I was in ice for 70 years doll, you really think this will affect me?" bucky asked with a little laugh but was interrupted by something
he looked down to see his whole body frozen with ice, the living room was so quiet that you'd hear a bug fly by but the next second you could hear the whole thing turn upside down.
everyone was laughing their asses off and clint was rolling on the floor with Pietro while the rest were nearly going to end up there as well. you just sent a sweet smile to bucky before heading back to your room with Loki close behind "ashhh! you better come back here and unfreeze me!!"
he practically yelled but you just laughed it off and said "don't feel like it" but whispered to Loki saying "it'll melt in an hour" and ran off to your room giggling while Loki tagged along shaking his head with an amused smile, loving every second of this day
